Turned crap wine into something amazing
Brought a couple of the nicer bottles of red wine from a chain of cheap supermarkets, couldn’t drink them so brought this and it made them delicious. Highly recommend!

Great little stocking filler...
We drink mulled wine in December. There are a few different ways to go about it - make your own spice mix (can be complicated and as you need to buy the individual ingredients can work out a bit expensive), buy it by the bottle pre-made (easy - but can be expensive depending on the one you choose), buy mulling syrup (I like this - a bottle goes a long way and it tastes good) or buy sachets or bags like this from Natural & Noble. This pack is also very convenient. All you need is a bottle of red wine. Gourmands would likely say 'Buy the best you can'. I say there are red wines to be had under a fiver a bottle that taste quite palatable and this is the sort of wine I'd personally mix with these mulling spices. This sachet needs to be combining with 2 cups of water - which will make your bottle of wine go further - and 2 tablespoons of white sugar in a saucepan. Simmer - don't boil - and maintain the heat for 10 minutes until the sugar dissolves. On the pack it says 'Remove from heat and leave for up to 30 minutes for best results'. Hmm - I've always served mulled wine warm before...Then 'strain and serve.'This is a doddle to make. What this rather attractive box will be most suitable for is perhaps as an inexpensive little stocking filler. I'd have liked the contents to have been in a muslin bag for ease - but it is well presented and the pack I got has an expiry date of 16th November 2023.

Excellent Mulling Spices for the Winter Months!
Mulled wine always reminds me of the festive season and I’ve never tried this way of making mulled wine before so I was very excited. This Natural & Noble sachet makes the process much easier. The convenience of this sachet is a big positive – all you need is the red wine, 2 tablespoons of sugar and water. As you will be adding the spices to the red wine there is little point buying an expensive bottle. The instructions state:1. Place wine, spices, water and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a pan.2. Warm to a very gentle simmer (do not boil). Maintain heat for 10 minutes, stirring to dissolve sugar.3. Remove from heat and leave for up to 30 minutes for best results. Strain and serve.I like how clear the instructions are and it was easy to make the mulled wine. You will need a strainer or muslin bag to remove the spices and personally I didn’t wait the 30 minutes as I like it warm but the taste was wonderful. I also a slice of orange to make it extra special. This will make your kitchen smell so festive! I would highly recommend this and it is a great little stocking filler that could be used on Christmas day itself! The packaging for this spice mix is attractive and has a decent shelf life with the expiry date on my box being 16th November 2023. I would recommend at the price of £1.99 at the time of writing and will definitely be ordering more for family members!

Quick and simple to make with a great aroma and taste
I ordered this to try out ready for bonfire night and very happy with the results. We followed the very clear and simple instructions and it took overall about an hour (30 mins was just leaving it to infuse) and then we use a fine tea strainer to make it ready for drinking. We tried it warm and it was a really good taste and the flavours were not too strong - just right for the 1 bottle of red we made it with.It was very simple to make whilst preparing our garden for our bonfire party just setting a timer for the last 30 minutes for it fully infuse. Just a couple of minutes then at the end to strain it and it we kept it warm ready to serve. The best points are that it has a great flavour with pre-mixed spices - very simple and effort is minimal. We may well be buying this in the future particularly if having an outdoor gathering in the winter.

Just perfect!
This blend contains everything that you will need to make a delicious mulled wine which is my favourite drink in the winter. I am glad I could taste it earlier due to this goodie pack and I can confirm it did not disappoint me, nor my husband. It put us into the Christmas mood already. It was easy to make, just as you would normally make a mulled wine. (I added sugar to mine)I used my own strainer to get rid of the spices and the end result was fab! I would buy it again.

Value for money
I used to use my own spices for my Glum or mulled wine. The quality of tehse spices is good they smell very ncie proceture is the same what I used to follow.1. Place wine, spices, water and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a pan.2. Warm to a very gentle simmer (do not boil). Maintain heat for 10 minutes, stirring to dissolve sugar.3. Remove from heat and leave for up to 30 minutes for best results. Strain and serve.I love mulled wine in winter thsi is one of my most favoutrite thing. There is a slit difference in the spices what i have used but this is even better. I will buy thenin future.

Cheap and cheerful and makes an ok mulled red wine
I love mulling wines, especially at Christmas time. You don't get much in the packet and all the 'bits' are quite small - no lovely large slices of dried orange or cinnamon sticks in here. Typical mulling spices, however the blend is decent enough for a red wine, and whilst I could just gather my own spices and fruits together, this just takes the hard work out of it all. Grab your bottle of wine (red), dump the contents and get it mulling. I do like to strain my wine, which is why I don't mind just putting this packet straight in... you may prefer to put them in a muslin bag, whatever works best for you! Sip and enjoy. £1.99? Well it won't break the bank and means you don't have to rummage around for the best spices to use.
