I bought this knife set for a gift after I watched a review of several sets where this set came out first over all. The knives are beautiful, well balanced and very sharp. The block is well made and has it's own built in sharpener. Excellent value for the price in my opinion.

These are great knives, best set we've had. We have had them 2 1/2 years. We have had no trouble with rust. They are VERY SHARP. The stand has held up well, but we are very carful and not hard on kitchen tools. We wash them by hand. Well worth the 75 dollars.

I spent hours comparing products and reading reviews before purchasing this knife set. I almost bought the Ninja set which is significantly more expensive but I am so thrilled with this one. The knives are extremely Sharp. The block is very stable. The knives really look beautiful. And after using them for several months and simply hand washing and drying afterwards we have never had any experience with any rust stains. The key, from all the reviews that I have read, about all the different knife sets available for sale, is that one must wash them by hand and dry shortly thereafter to avoid rust stains. That seems to be pretty universal. Metal is metal after all. The built-in sharpener is fantastic. It's made prepping food so much less of a chore, dare I say enjoyable. If you were like me and trying to decide which knife set to buy, don't hesitate to buy this one! It's amazing!

Like many, I bought these after seeing them on Project Farm. After trying them out for a couple months, donated my other 1 year old set of knives that I paid more.Cannot really say more than what others have said already. Be careful as they are the sharpest knives I have ever owned out of the box and I have already knicked myself accidentally a couple of times. Cutting meat and hard vegetables like onions is a breeze compared to my last knife set.I also love the modern silver look and they are comfortable to use as I have used every knife in the set.Time will tell how they hold up, but hoping for a long time.

They look great and feel great. They have a built in sharpener in lieu of a honing rod. This is fine I suppose, but I would’ve preferred the honing rod looking back. These knives come insanely sharp. I was taken aback by the sharpness at first. I have had the set for several months now and I have yet to resharpen them which is nice HOWEVER this isn’t my only set of knives and therefor they don’t see all of my use. They have held up well thus far though. My one major complaint is the blade is very thin. Even the back of the blade is thin which can feel very off putting while cutting. The blade flexes slightly and I see this as potentially unsafe to someone not expecting it. Using these knives makes me feels slightly less confident in my knife skills. They are an amazing value for the money, and would make a great first set of knives. All in all, if you’re looking to upgrade your knives, I’d recommend skipping these.

Many years ago I dreamed of a German knife set renowned for its high quality. My budget never seemed to allow it. Then I watched a video about this knife set and saw how it compared to various other brands. The price was within our budget so I decided to make an upgrade.The set seems well-balanced and the quality is great. It isn’t the most expensive set but it is fairly sharp and is a pleasure to use.I’m glad we made the purchase and look forward to using the set for many years. The included sharpener is a nice touch.Sharp knives save time and increase your productivity and safety.If you’re looking to toss your mismatched set, this is a step forward!

Really high quality, a great feel, look. Razor (and I mean razor like) sharp.Nice holder.We would definitely buy these again, or give them as gifts. A great value.Have not yet used the sharpening stone on the holder, and don't expect to for quite a while.The one "nitpick", NO, they are NOT really dishwasher safe. Here's the thing: when water dries on a knife blade, it does tend to create microscopic rust, which in turn dulls the edge. This is nearly true for nearly all blades, of all types. So, to maintain the set at it's best, do NOT run them in the dishwasher. Hand wash, and then immediately dry them.Just wish the seller/manufacturer would be more honest about this.
