I got this bag to store my helmet after I ride- not specifically for traveling or heavy use.It is not very roomy but fits my standard riding helmet just fine. It will keep the dust off and prevent scratches, however, it is NOT lined or padded.It is a great value and very well made. the handle is generous and the bag is easy to carry when you have your hands full. The zipper is sturdy and the material is good (for what it is). If you need to protect a helmet while traveling to shows or clinics you might want to invest in a padded bag or hard sided carrier. I ended up buying a second one for my second helmet.This will absolutely NOT fit any motorcycle helmets!!!

It is quality made and from a good fabric. Looks durable. I used it to carry ski helmet ( Smith Variant Large - with brim) on trip through airports. What is nice about it , that you can stuff a few items in a helmet ( e.g. googles, balaclavas, mittens). So it serves a extended laggage.

I purchased this because I realized I didn't like the idea of mice potentially getting into my helmet if I left it at the barn. Nor was I keen on arena dust coating my sweaty head. However, the barn was the only place I had for storage. I saw other helmet storage bags that were similar, but more expensive. Plus I needed two: one for a small helmet and one for a large. The helmets are Troxel brand horse riding helmets, which just seem to be somewhat bulky compared to other brands. This bag accommodated both sizes just fine. The zipper part needs to align perfectly to match the contour of the helmet on the large size. It's a bit tight, but it fits just fine. I'd not recommend for a motorcycle helmet, unless it's maybe a half style. It's also nice that I can hang it vertically, as it takes up limited space. Plus now I don't worry so much about mice nesting in my helmet or dust and dirt getting all over it.

It does the job of protecting my helmet from dust & dirt. I can easily hang it my my tack locker. It does it' job quite nicely.I sort of wish it were lightly padded but I knew that when I bought it so shouldn't complain. Also, a small pocket to hold keys or sunglasses would be neat addition.Truly though, a good little cover / carrier.

Perfect for any helmet to protect your noggin! I use it for my bike, ski, and winging helmets. One size fits all of them!

Nice and thick material. This really protects my Horseback Riding Helmet from getting scratched or dirty. I have purchased several of these for my helmets.

Wanted a bag to protect my new investment. This bag is perfect in terms of price, size and construction -- fabric is of substantial weight and doesn't collect hair or dirt, zipper opens far enough to make getting helmet in and out easy, and carrying handle is wide enough that I can slip over my arm when I am multitasking in the barn. Room to spare with helmet and winter gloves inside.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The product description says it’s 100% nylon, but when I received the helmet bags, their tag says 100% polyester. My family is allergic to polyester, so I have to return them.
