So my first time I have had a beard and I was using scissors for awhile which was very time consuming and could not really shorten the beard with scissors much, also bit dangerous.I looked around and found this one could trim many types of beard in particular just above stubble type look and level.The price was amazing for what u get and what it does.The design is very good light and easy to hold, attachments with trimmer impressive it even has a travel bag.First time use was expecting either a beard accident or cuts BUT neither occurred was brilliant to use and done a perfect job.No irritation at all during or after shave and did not even have wet my face or use shaving foam.So barber said £10 per trim on beard and once a week at least maybe twice my friend does that I find it a waste of time and hassle going to barbers.By my calculations this trimmer has paid for itself within 2-3 weeks maximum.Cleaning it was so easy as attachment comes off easily.My son bought one same brand at around £80 save your money and just get this one.In fact wasted £20 as I bought a separate nostril and hair removal trimmer which this can do as well.

I bought this recently and it really worth it. I shaves nicely and very easy to clean. I’ve been using for 2 days for a quite long time and the battery is perfectly fine. It’s very easy to use and very safe as well. It’s water resistant ( not water proof tho) it’s even perfectly fine for any Hair length .

Excellent for shaving both head and face, comes with a lot of attachments so you can clean that absolute mess you call a beard up. Feels decently built and holds a charge for a long time. Had an issue with the power switch getting jammed for no reason but it stopped happening once you put some effort into switching it on and off a few times.

Best quality .. worth the price

Seems good quality and easy to use. As others have pointed out, there is no charging light on the handle, although there IS a green light on the plug. Multilingual documentation. Uses shown in line drawings; easy to follow - easier if enlarged and printed out. So far so good. Time will tell. 3 year warranty when registered with Philips.

Good things - the device is ergonomic and feels good in the hand. Compact and easy to store.Bad things - only five cutting lengths are available. The longest is 9mm which is not long enough for styling longer beards. The remaining blade lengths are then very close together - 5mm, 3mm, 2mm, and 1mm - which are only any good if you want a "stubble" look. I wear a short goatee and all of these cutting lengths are too short. On each blade the length is embossed in very small writing - this is hard to read in the real world (the product photo is a lot clearer) so it's *very* difficult to find the correct blade. What's more confusing is that the 1mm blade is physically the same size as the 9mm blade, so easy to read "1mm" and assume it is "7mm"

I’ve had this shaver a few weeks now and it works great. The attachments are sturdy and fit well to the shaver; I’ve only charged it once (when first received) but it doesn’t have any kind of indicator to show how much battery remains. I do like it!Only 4 stars though: the on/off switch is awful. Way too small and fiddly! I need to use a finger or thumb nail to operate the awkward switch and that’s uncomfortable.
