16" High-velocity Drum Air Circulator Fan 2800 CFM, comparison to DeWalt 4000 CFM
FYI to Seller: Buyers don't like it when you mix the rating for several of your products (10, 16, 20, 24, 42" fans) into one rating/review listing. So to be clear this is for the 16" High-velocity Drum Air Circulator Fan 2800 CFM. I bought this and the comparable, highly rated DEWALT 16 Inch Floor Fan, 4000 CFM at the same time. This HICFM was about $95, then I saw the Dewalt on sale at Costco for $70 and bought it, thinking I'd keep the one I like best. I like them both and can use both but the HiCFM 16" fan is a slightly better fan in my opinion. The HiCFM 2800 CFM produces a slightly stronger breeze than the Dewalt 4000 CFM so don't believe all manufacturer claims. Both move a lot of air so no complaints there. There are features of each I like but for brevity I'll list the highlights of each....HiCFM 16": All metal construction, the drum is very solid, only the fan blade is questionable but most manufacturers use very thin aluminum blades now. Maybe because of cost, or weight, or perhaps both. They seem replaceable if there is ever an issue. Neither is loud for a shop or garage, maybe too loud for inside if you value silence. The HiCFM is slightly quieter and more powerful than the Dewalt. The motor housing does get fairly hot when in use for a while. Not a safety concern yet. For comparison, as far as the DeWalt 16": All plastic construction but it's thick and durable, not cheap and I actually prefer the plastic blade to thin aluminum. The DeWalt stand is thicker and probably stronger overall it looks a slightly better than the HiCFM but I value performance more. Either DeWalt lies about 4000 CFM rating or the HiCFMs claim of 2800 is grossly underrated. Both fans are fine, the HiCFM is slightly better in the important categories but cost $25 more than the $70 sale price I paid for Dewalt. The only thing I can't comment on is long term quality and durability. I will update this review if there are issues that arise later. I hope this helps you make the best decision for you.

Outstanding Outdoor Fan. Keeps You Cool on the Hottest Days!
I’m really impressed with this fan! I needed something powerful to keep me cool during the really hot and humid days while my son plays outside. This did the trick — it’s super fast and keeps you comfortable without leaving you drenched in sweat.

Great fan
Awesome fans, I bought 2, they move a lot of air really fast. A little noisy but that was expected.

Great barn fan!
I use this in the barn for the animals. Its safe as the motor is enclosed, so no worries about fires. Does a great job cooling as is not too noisy. Built very well!

Noisy and wobbling fan. Not worth the cost.
Loud, and at anything except the slowest speed it has a terrible noisy wobble. I will be returning it. There are others that push as much air much more quietly and without the wobbling motion. Something is definitely out of balance. It sounds like it will rack itself apart at anything except low speed.
