What is the Shoulder drop length?

I’m a man, 5,9. Bought for my mom. When I tried it out, it reached maybe 4-6 inches above my belt line. I will attest to the quality of the fabric, my mom still uses it (library, pool) super washable as well she says. Hope this helps :)

Is it strong material?

Yes~ sturdy canvas material. Great bag that would highly recommend.
