5 start for well thought out and made shelves. Note that these are not for heavy weight items. They to come with a "hidden" center support that does keep the shelve from bowing. All in all, perfect for living room or bedroom. Just keep in mind they are not Heavy Duty metal shelves that support a zillion tons.

So, the brackets and the predrilled holes were not quite far enough apart to fit the exposed studs they were being mounted on. That did not matter however, as it was easy enough to put in new holes.There were extra pieces of screws in case any fell and got lost too.The cats don't like it much, as the shelves are too thin for them to comfortably lay on. All the better for me, as it means they will not be up there. But nice and sturdy shelves, holds two year old cats with ease.
