Very impressed! Strings stay in tune much better even with lots of string bending. Long overdue addition, easy install, great fit & finish.

Improved Tremendously
Put it on today. After playing for a few hours I can absolutely say it improves stability. G still only sometimes goes out but what can you do. I highly recommend this!

This string butler is great idea for an almost universal tuning problem many 3x3 guitars.
I like it. It made my Gibson SG sing like a bird hold its tuning when do a lot of bends. I am considering another purchase for another 3x3 headstock Gibson.

No Complaints
Easy to install. Works as advertised. Hardly noticeable on a LP custom black headstock.

GAME CHANGER
I am a huge fan of ESP/LTD guitars, and own and have owned many. Each one was designed beautifully With function USUALLY taking president. Primarily when it comes to the headstock, but specifically with the tuner placement. My ltd f-250 has a prs style headstock with the d and g strings nearer to the center. My viper 401b has a more vertical 3x3 arrangement but ive never had issues, because the break angle of the central strings was never too extreme, and the nut was cut to compensate by a pro. But the guitar I have loved forever, and in the most beautiful finish I’ve ever seen; my ltd ec1000 deluxe, with its fishman moderns, esp locking tuners, stainless steel x jumbo frets, and violet andromeda color shifting finish- tuners took the les paul/dean guitars route and actually spread outward towards the top. Couple that with the knife blade TOM bridge, and graphene nut that I am terrified of cutting and ruining - I had a guitar whos tuning would barely hold up for an entire song.I had considered getting this tool for a bit and finally pulled the trigger. My beautiful guitar had basically been just for showing people rather than actually playing the past few months and it hurt my heart. The set up took mere minutes to complete. The rollers spin freely and the whole device is well designed, and well built, and from the moment my guitar was tuned to pitch- let me tell you- I could hear and feel the change immediately. Even harmonically fine tuning the strings to each other, they had a clearer and more stable sound. Played on her for hours. Really shredding it up and putting those pickups to use. And had to adjust the tuning slightly only once and only due to them being new strings and hadn't finished stretching yet.My guitar now plays as solid and as beautifully as she looks, and I’m so happy to finally fully love this guitar with my ears as much as I have always loved it with my eyes. The string butler is the single best guitar accessory I have ever bought simply because it made me finally fully love my favorite guitar!Im sure if Glenn Fricker had a string butler on the Gibson les Paul’s he has worked with, he wouldn’t speak so poorly of them or so highly of schecters. If you have a 3x3 tuners guitar that seems to fall out of tune routinely and are on the fence about this product: im here to tip you. Buy it. You wont regret it. It is a literal night and day difference! And its built to last! I will sing the string butler praises to every guitar player I know. Fantastic product

Tuning stability is much improved
I installed this on my Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro four months ago, in addition to adding a Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddles, and auto trim tuning machines. Like the headline for this review states, tuning stability on the guitar is much improved. However, this can be because of the combination of all the things I did on the guitar. It does get rid of the bind of the strings coming over the nut before going into the tuning pegs but there is still an angle from the rollers to the tuners. The device has floating rollers on spindles, so they can move up and down to accommodate varying height angles coming over the nut, with string tension holding them in place. I think sometimes the rollers can move causing the guitar to go out of tune. And I found that if I do David Gilmour bends that the G and B strings do go out of tune, but by a few cents rather than a half step, with the G string going further out of tune than the B. I have had instances of practicing rhythm guitar, including aggressive scratch rhythms, where the guitar stayed perfectly in tune the entire time.I did have to modify mine slightly because the claws weren't wide enough for the tuning pegs to fit through. It is a little expensive for what you actually get but it is a custom piece and there is the cost of tooling and machinery to keep in mind. Overall, I give it four stars.

Guitars should be built this way...
Didn't know these existed Monday and here I am on Thursday night pleased as a Possum eatin pancakes!3+3 guitars should absolutely come with a setup that does what this does from the factory... and I'm going to out one on every guitar I own.I've done just about everything I can think of to get my 2007 "budget" Ibanez acoustic (AEF37ETCS1201) to act right for the last year... if it wasn't such a little hot rod guitar I would have given up on it and retired it VERY soon... it just hasn't been right and I figured I had finally just worn it out or it had aged out.Sounds funny to be upset about a 15 year old Ibanez that was only $500 at the time... but out of my large collection of guitars this is the one I play every single day.Well... after snapping a BRAND NEW G string I finally had enough and started looking at tuners... and I found another guitar with the tuners I was investigating that had one of these mounted on it!Well... long story short this guitar is legitimately fixed and better than ever. This product does everything it says and more IMO. Can't tell you if the sound improvements came from better string geometry... but this guitar absolutely screams now which is the whole reason why I'm so weirdly obsessed with it.If you're a bit of a setup geek, you'll notice some immediate changes... it's clearly changed the way the strings pull on the neck and I'll likely have to dial some bow out of it. It's clearly helping to guide the strings in a more uniform manner. This is not a complaint btw... everything is better so a little bit of setup adjustment is no big deal. Not sure exactly how or why... but my intonation is now significantly improved and intonation specifically is why I was going to retire this guitar... and now it's legitimately fixed.BTW the V3 fits... but I will be buying the V2 which is slightly narrower than the V3 and putting this one on my Martin that I don't care much.
