It's simple, cheap, easy to install, and gets the job done. There's no backlight, so it can be hard to see if it's dark, and you can't give it separate programming for weekdays versus weekends, but if you just need single stage heating or cooling on a budget, this one works great.

I bought this for an RV and actually works really well. The old RV ones are junk and saw this on YouTube as an option. It installed with no issue and works perfectly cycling the heat on and off with no concerns. Maintains the heat at the exact temperature. My only complaint is the the on and off switch at the bottom is really small and very fiddly to use.

Estoy seguro que el termostato funciona perfectamente, pero yo no lo he conseguido. Además las instrucciones están en español y la programación cierto es que es muy sencilla.Mi aparato es Carrier, consulte las configuraciones tanto en Carrier como en Honeywell, pensando que era compatible con Carrier. He probado todas las combinaciones de cables posibles y no lo he conseguido. Probablemente sea culpa mía, solamente quiero decir a otros compradores que se aseguren de la compatibilidad antes de comprarlo. Muchas gracias.

Replaced my old thermostat, which was loaded with options and started to act up after 18 months, with this simpler one (I was even considering a mechanical one). Easy to install and program. Only thing is it is in degrees F and does not seem to have a degrees C option, not that that really matters because everyone should be bilingual anyhow.
