I have a standard 10 gallon tank from Petco. This didn’t fit as the top was a cm too large. I like that the Perspex / acrylic is so clear. The holes also. My Bettas get along but I like to separate them every now and then - if I’m out of the house for more than 6 hours. I’ll try and find a 20 gallon that this could work for as it’s such great quality. Most Bettas need a black wall so they can’t see each other. If you buy this tall plants can help. Or one way film.

So based on photos this was the clear divider with the smallest holes I could find. Wanted to separate a dwarf puffer fish from the rest of the tank as his appetite for snails and small shrimp has become insatiable and he is literally eating them 24 seven until none are left.It turns out that he can freely swim through the holes, also even midsize adult fancy guppies can fit through the slots at the top of the divider.That being said the divider is very nice, I saw photos in other reviews showing that it was cloudy, there is a protective plastic on both sides that you have to remove for it to be crystal clear.

The product is the correct size, but is cracked in two places. Struggling to send back before a replacement arrives, because it was purchased to combine different size fish into one tank.Once I receive the replacement, I will update the review.4-18-2025 Update - the day I posted the original review and requested a replacement, they shipped the replacement. I am very pleased and I will try to post a picture of it in use.

I bought this for my 3gallon tank to fit sideways / diagonally. I have a male & female betta fish. My female is quite small and will probably get through the side where the suction holds. Because this is designed to fit depth / width ways I returned it. But may buy again when I get a larger tank on December.I probably should have kept it as it was very clear and sturdy. I’d have not batted an eyelid if it was double the price.Arrived with a protective backing. I’ll shop for a ten gallon tank with this specific separator in mind.

I got this to put in a 10 gallon tank from PetSmart, but it doesn't fit. Too long both directions, no matter how you try to turn it. But the quality is superb.

Easy to install and use. Looks and works great.

Spray painted black to make it compatible with bettas and it is working well. The bettas can see each other through the holes and flare at each other occasionally. I had to silicone the dividers in place to prevent my smallest betta from getting through the opening on the sides.
