Third time purchasing this. For a few bucks to protect $500, worth every penny. Never an issue applying. Hold us well, if I didn't work with my hands as much or maybe took off the watch, one set would outlast the watch.

These work well and are the correct size to fit a 955 or in my case 955 solar protecting the whole screen. I have had issues with bubbles that seem to develop later on at the edges sometimes and I'm not sure why. This was true on the 935 version as well. Could be nice if they provided some sort of alignment guide for installation but its not hard if you just grab it by the edges.I do scratch and crack them every once in a while just from hitting things with my watch but this isn't a big deal for me as they are inexpensive. It also gives your watch more of a glass look than the plastic screen has but I don't find glare to be an issue at all. I fined the touch sensitivity to still be just fine with it installed.

i've used Supershieldz protectors on my prior watches (Forerunner 935 and 945LTE) so i knew what to expect. simple, easy to install protector which gives me some extra protection against me banging the watch on things and getting the screen scratched. the bonus: i have found that the protector is less of a fingerprint magnet than the watch glass. (note: it still attracts fingerprints, but slightly less so. yet, with a touch interface, my screen will surely need more frequently cleaning with a cloth or my shirt ;) )i didn't quite center the protector on the glass. this protector is about 41mm in diameter while the watch is closer to 41.5mm. with the protector flush on the bottom and right, i have about 0.5mm of gap on the left and top. not their fault, but mine and i probably could have been more careful and OCD in getting it installed just right.only real complaint: they only initially sold this as a set of 2 (as is here). i see now that Supershieldz is offering a 3 pack for a dollar more. i would have happily spent a dollar more to get another protector (and would probably have been willing to throw the first one away and reinstall it more centered onto the watch glass. small complaint, but still wish they would have provided that option previously. (heck: i'd probably be happy to buy 4-5 for a few dollars more -- the pricing makes sense: shipping/packaging cost, so an extra piece of glass is a negligible cost.)

I installed the first one, within about a week there was a crack on the corner, within about 5 months there was a lot of cracks. I removed it and installed the second one and within a week again it had a crack. The screen is still in pristine condition but the glass protector is definitely brittle. I'll probably switch to a different brand with a bit stronger material or else I'll be replacing these monthly.

I wasn't sure it's will protect my screen with the hard impact or not. However, I almost had the watch scrape against the wall when I walked close to it so I want some protection. There is no instruction but I just go with1. Use the alcohol to clean the screen2. Use the cloth to clean it3. Use the sticky label to hold the screen and peel the other side4. Drop it on the screen.It just fits perfectly on the watch first time, no bubble and I can still touch and swipe screen.

Picked these up for a new Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar, like I did for a 945 before it. Figured it'd help with scrapes, didn't think much more of it.Well, the other night I bumped at full walking speed into a metal railing. Missed my hand (whew), took it full on the watch (ugh). Got a nice crack and shattered around the edge.My memory had failed me, because I'd forgotten this protector was tempered glass and not just something to avoid scratches. When I realized, then went and peeled it off...well, see for yourself. Protector is cracked and shattered. The watch itself? No worse for wear.Garmin will fix screens that get cracked, but it's an out of warranty repair, and they don't publish the cost, so it's gotta be bad. So this protector (two of them, fortunately! time to install the second now) absolutely saved my bacon.And maybe it'll save yours, too. Totally justified insurance policy.ETA: And a bit over a year later, the protectors come in handy yet again. While out biking I took...some sort of a tumble (not sure exactly how!) and ended up scraping the edge and part of the face of the watch on the ground. You can just see the roughing at top of the edge of the face. Meanwhile the old protector fractured and protected the actual face, now protected by a fresh protector. These continue to be money well spent.

These are perfect for the Garmin Forerunner 955. I only needed one but it is nice that they give you two in case you screw up installing the first one (or scratch it). Fit is perfect, and no air bubbles.
