The Seller did give me a refund & offered me a free pound of another flavor & I refused because I was SO disappointed with their Maple Nut Fudge & because I was so disgusted that they had not achieved perfection in the Maple Walnut taste that I never bought another fudge on Amazon until I bought Hall's AFTER learning they had over 6,000 reviews and had such a HIGH STAR RATING! The speed of delivery is what we wanted as well & to replenish supplies very quickly & they have met our needs without doing anything special just for us, it is just their way of doing business, with great speed! Fabulous flavor and consist

I'm not sure if it’s just this brand but this vanilla fudge was sickening. Way too sweet and other fudges i've tried aren’t as sweet as the one i bought here, i would never buy this again and it was way overpriced.

UPDATE Jan 8, 2016I've now had three different varieties of this fudge. In addition to the Chocolate Walnut that I reviewed earlier, I've now had the layered Chocolate Peanut Butter and the Maple Walnut.The Chocolate Peanut Butter was ... OK. Not as much flavor as I was expecting, though -- very little "peanut butter" taste at all, and the blandness of the peanut butter sort of canceled out the flavor of the chocolate layer. So .. 3 stars for this one (it's OK, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order again.)The Maple Walnut -- OUTSTANDING! Really really good maple flavor and justs the right amount of walnuts evenly distributed. Not grainy, either -- very smooth and creamy, with the same sort of "buttery" aftertaste I experienced with the Chocolate Walnut. Solid 5 stars on this one -- by far my favorite.So overall, I still stand by my 4-star​ rating -- although it's probably tracking a bit higher thanks to the Maple Walnut. Total yum there.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I really wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. I've had "mass produced" fudge before that is waxy, flavorless, etc. I'm happy to say that this fudge is none of those things.I got the chocolate walnut variety, and it was smooth, creamy, intensely chocolate, good amount of nuts but not too many, and a slightly buttery aftertaste that is really nice. I also like that it's already cut into bite size portions.I love to cook, and I've made a lot of different fudge recipes over the years, from the more complicated powdered cocoa based ones to the chocolate chips + marshmallow cream ones to the super simple semi-sweet choco chips + sweetened condensed milk varieties -- and this ranks in the top 25% of the fudge I've tasted. It's a really nice addition to my holiday "spread" of sweet and savory snacks and at a reasonable cost, too.Will definitely be ordering this again!

Some fudge types are so delicious you can’t stop eating, I had one piece and had no problem stopping! It’s not horrible, but I definitely wouldn’t buy it again and I won’t eat most of it. I gave it 3 stars because someone else might love it!

Listen people, and listen well. If you are willing to spend this kind of money on fudge, you need to get something that is out of this world and this Hall's brand is NOT it. I am a self-proclaimed fudge expert, meaning I eat fudge whenever the opportunity arises, and believe me, I go out of my way to make that happen. This stuff has a chemical aftertaste, a grainy, crumbly consistency, a cloudy color ....... with all these "c" scales I am rating this with you would think I am a diamond dealer looking at the 4 c's (color, cut, clarity & carat!)..... well heck, let's finish this - the carat, meaning weight of the actual fudge seems to be lacking and I think it is due to the crumbly texture and small holes that are visible. I am not satisfied at ALL with the overall product. Granted, I am still willing to eat this - preferably by myself with no other family members around so I don't have to share - but you know those fudge shops you see when you go on vacation in a tourist town? Those are better. Fudge shops inside those large franchise sporting shops are better. Vermont Country Store and Amish shops have better fudge. So, search around. You want really creamy consistency, rich, full flavor that melts in your mouth, and stuff that is so good you get nearly sick because you just can't stop eating it. That's my opinion and I am sticking with it.
