El 7Artisans 50mm T1.05 es un lente muy bueno por su precio, excelente para cineastas independientes y creadores de contenido que buscan un look cinematográfico sin quebrarte. La apertura lo hace ideal para grabar en condiciones de poca luz y para lograr un hermoso efecto bokeh. También se agradece el diseño metálico y de construcción sólida. Tiene un peso que inspira confianza sin ser excesivo.algunos contras pueden ser que, aunque ese efecto "dreamy" es bonito, a T1.05 la nitidez no es su punto fuerte. Hay una caída notable en los bordes, aunque mejora al cerrar un poco la apertura (T2.0 en adelante). También, en condiciones de alto contraste, especialmente con luces fuertes en el fondo, aparece aberración cromática que puede ser molesta si no se corrige en post.No es para quienes buscan perfección técnica, pero si quieres un lente que entregue carácter y estilo este puede ser, estoy a gusto con la compra.

Okay, this is a very specific lens and I recommend doing your research before you buy it. The DOF is shallow for a reason because (i think) it was made to be used wide open. Buy a ND filter or two to help with overexposure - this lens has a style all its own. I know that sounds so corny, but this isn’t a typical lens. You have to watch the focus and know exactly what you want it to do, knowing it won’t be perfect - enjoy those flaws, truthfully I believe it will make you a better filmmaker. I love this lens, the metal body, the endless focus ring and the t-stop of 1.05 is wonderful. Most of my prime lens zoom in slightly when I focus, this one doesn’t, because it’s made for movies. It will take practice and patience to handle it correctly, but I’m up for the challenge, are you?

I love the lens but about 2 months into owning the lens, the lens body started to become loose and is progressively getting worse. The separation between the aperture ring and focus ring has come to make this lens unusable. The focus ring is no longer smooth, and the frame gets quite blurry. I cannot even use the lens. I have sent 7artisans multiple emails with no response. I am basically at a $500 loss here…..Amazons return policy is only good for a month after purchase. This faulty product issue that was not my doing did not even happen until 2 months after purchase so I missed that window as well.I will change that review to 5 Stars if you can please help me resolve this issue. I love the lens itself, but this problem has exceeded anything else.

The 7Artisans 50mm Vision is a solid brick of a APS-C /crop sensor lens that can shoot at a ridiculous T 1.05 aperture when wide open. Want a micro-thin focal plane? This can do it. It can ALSO shoot very utilitarian footage when stopped down.

I have the 50mm and the 12mm plan on getting the 35mm too I love these lenses!

Great lens but so help me it said it was for sony a7 full frame camera and it is not. Plus shipping was a freaking nightmare!!!!!! Bought a second one because first one was considered lost in transit. Took nearly a month to get it despite being told it was 2nd day shipping on Amazon Prime.

Had high hopes for this lens but after receiving it and mounting on my Blackmagic camera the fit was atrocious, sloppy and loose! I immediately contacted 7Artisans Customer service to see if there was an issue with the M4/3 mounts, 24 hours later received a automated response "Please ask customer service in the official Amazon store and they will solve the problem for you". After reading other reviews it seems others have had the same problem, and zero customer service from 7Artisans!! Packed it up and returned and now the wait to see how long it will take to receive my refund. Will never buy an item again from Amazon that is not covered by Amazon Prime!!
