Surprised this existed!
I have an older motherboard that unfortunately doesn't have a USB C header for my PC case - I have researched a while ago to see if there were any work around. I did another search a couple of month later and found this! And for a tenner it does the job. Its very easy to install and means I can use my USB C port on the front of my PC now. Brilliant piece of kit.

Did the job!
I used this in conjunction with a PCIe x1 USB 3.0 card, to get the top USB-C connector working on my Fractal Define 7 case. (My Asus Prime B550-Plus mobo had no spare USB connectors and in any case, none of them were 'Type-E' (properly know as "20Pin, Key A" or some such!)).Note - there are 'tangs' on the 'conventional' (19pin?) side, to stop the connector falling out. Due to the angle of the PCB on the adapter, it is highly unlikely you will ever be able to remove this, once plugged in.I'm guessing you'd need to be able to insert something down the side, to release the tang - and you can't)Act in haste, and all that...

Does the job as expected
Arrived simply packaged with no extra frills. I was able to install it easily with decent PC knowledge. Tested it using a Samsung T5 1tb and Crystal Disk Mark. Using the adapter with my front IO led to a roughly 14% drop in read/write during the test when compared to having the drive directly connected to my rear IO. This sort of drop should be expected so when using an adapter like this from any supplier so I'm happy to give it 5 stars. I'll update this review if anything goes wrong in the future.

Extremely fragile!
Used it for my NZXT H510 and I noticed straight away it felt fragile and could wobble it with little effort. Connected my iPhone to it using said adapter and get 'USB device not recognised. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it.' Using the same cable on the motherboard USB C port and works just fine. going to try reseating the adapter to see if that fixes it.

Good job in my small form factor case
Really happy to have my front panel USB-C working (even on USB 2 speeds) in my A4-H20 as otherwise limited by my motherboard

Disappointing
Basically it bent my end pin so badly I can't resurrect it, because the plastic holes not been cut properly, and honestly didn't think to check as looked like a solid product but 100 pound motherboard usb 3 port busted now,
