I have been taking these for some years.Met my expectations

This another fantastic product from a completely UK based company Nu UAs Alpha Lipoic is a great anti inflammatory I am hoping for some results as I have a lot of neuropathic pain which is incredibly hard to get relief from and am unable to take anti inflammatory drugs.I haven't been taking this for that long to report any results yet but all my supplements are from this company and they are all brilliant quality and value so I expect this will be great too.

I read that this helps with nerve pain, due to whatever reason. So I had a bad fall 5 years ago which left me with pain that ranges from pins and needles to 'I want to scream'. I also have nerve pain in my feet. I tried this without reading the blurb, bad bad me. So, take with food - I have a piece of toast, a tablet and another piece of toast. Do not take with a fizzy drink. It doesn't mention any drink, but trust me on this not a fizzy drink. Because, you will end up with a taste in your mouth like an extremely strong curry, and it feels like it's in your throat and stomach. But, This ALA works. Now I've sussed out what not to do, it works and works quickly. The pain in my hand is gone, and my feet are nearly back to normal. So a big thank you to Dr. Mandel and You Tube, and the makers Nu U.

Alpha-lipoic acid is a good anti-inflammatory supplement that works well in conjunction with vitamin C and vitamin E. It is also used in the body to break down carbohydrates and to make energy for other organs in the body. These supplements represent excellent value from a well-respected UK supplier.

This is my second time buying this product to help with diabetic neuropathy.After speaking with the consultant, he suggested that I increase the dose to double and still feel that it does nothing to help with the pain and have been taking this for a total of 7 months.Caution, since being on these I have noticed spikes in the blood sugar levels so is likely helping to break down the carbohydrates.There are 3 forms of Alpha Lipoic Acid, R, S and RS. The effective form seems to be the R form and this product is likely a 50/50 RS blend but does not state it on the bottle.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and have been really happy with the results. I have been feeling better in myself and seem to have more energy. I find them easy to swallow and don't get any acid reflux from them. Great product from a great company 👍.
