Effective product, great results will purchase again.

Not sure about lightening any spots but skin feels smoother and softer after using this.

I have been using this all over the face since I have dark spots from acne scars in multiple areas.Already with first use you can notice the overall skin tone very even and brighter. With continued use it is fading the scars so much faster than just letting them heal on their own.The smell is quite strong but it doesn't linger, it smells like some kind of fruit, maybe guava?It tingles a little bit as you're putting it on but does not continue to tingle while it's on.The cream is not too thick, only need a little bit to cover a large area and it does not leave much of a residue, the skin feels hydrated and it gives the skin a nice glow.I don't have age spots, freckles or other pigmentation so I don't know how well it works for those, but I would highly suggest this for uneven skin tone or acne scar issues, my skin is so even now that, aside from more noticeable and bigger scars, it looks like I'm wearing a foundation.

Too harsh

I know I am only 36, but my sexy and cute freckles are starting to turn (f)recklessly into extensive spots with time and age. I still love them, but I have to calm them down somehow. Moreover, I started getting some spots on my hands, too, which must disappear. I was recently introduced to FCL and am impressed by their products, especially the vitamin C face cleanser and retinol body lotion. They are reminiscent of Vichy products, more in the dermato-cosmetics category, as they treat and beautify simultaneously. I am delighted to have tried their products, as they are excellent, and I will continue using them for a long time.I do have a rather complex skincare routine, mainly in the evening. I wash my face, tone it, apply the serum(s), oil, and finally, the cream. Since ordering this AHA lightening gel, I slightly changed it and used the FCL gel right after the toner. Like this, I ensure that the exfoliation starts immediately and can penetrate the first layers of skin. Upon application, it tingles. It smells delicate, so you will not struggle with the smell. Its consistency is light, just like a gel, and spreads very well over the skin. It also absorbs quite quickly, and you feel it working. When I say tingle, I do not mean a pronounced sensation but a slight feeling that it is actually interacting with your skin.I truly appreciate that the gel contains no steroidal ingredients, only active acids such as Glycolic acid 10%, Milk Protein, Multifruit BSC, Grapefruit extract, Alpha arbutin, Ronacare Pristine Bright, and Hydroquinone. I have used it for a few days, but I always ensure applying an SPF of at least 30. I have also applied it on my hands, and I am happy to report that the spots are disappearing, and my hands are turning lighter in colour. I attached a couple of photos with both my hands so that you can judge for yourselves. The pigments in my freckles are already starting to break down, and I can see how they are not as dark; therefore, it is an effective product and delivers its promises.Nevertheless, I will not get overly excited and will continue using it. AHA are exceptional for ageing skin; hence, I am only benefitting my skin and its renewal of cells with the aid of this gel. My skin looks smooth and soft and has a shine that I genuinely love.I forgot to mention that it must be used within a month of opening the tub.Overall, and for the brief period since using it, I am thrilled that it works, and I wholeheartedly recommend the gel and FCL!

Received the item but I'm not impressed with the product.

This product irritated my skin. So after 5 days i gave up.

I used to have a treatment for my hyperpigmentation with hydroquinone 4% and other ingredients for a few months, I noticed a slight change in my hyperpigmentation so I believe this Lightening Gel will give good results but needs consistency and months of using it.I used it for a week now I can’t say I can see big difference but I will carry on on use it.My skin feels nice and smooth after applying the gel twice daily. No irritation or sensitivity on use it.
