Good for the cost
I used to to plug my microphone and headset into as you probably bought this for. There was not problem with the sound quality or delay of sound. The material is relatively high quality. Overall this is a good product and I would recommend it to just about anyone.

Works as it should BUT.
Just keep it away from your skin or anything that has an electric charge. Because the mic will be buzzing alot and loud. And you and others will hear it.

By the way, this is not a headphone duplication cord. This adapter splits the mic and headphones to different jacks, allowing different devices to be used as one. Exactly what I was expecting and very reasonably priced.
