Its a great tool to have when ordering your own glasses
It took me a minute to figure it out because it didn't come with instructions I had to google it. My sons glasses come in and he sees perfectly. The measurements are spot on once you know how to figure out how to read the PD. I would definitely purchase it again if I needed to because it is thin and can break easily but so far so good you definitely don't want your child or pet to get ahold of it.

It works ok.. it's cheap plastic but does the job, and it is accurate
It works, it does the job fairly well really, I like being able to line up the 2 bars and measure the distance that wayit's kind of cheap plastic but seems sturdy enoughno sharp edges on this either so maybe they fixed that or quality control?the screw that some people had issues with seems fine too but isn't really that necessary if you can just read the number in the mirroralso the one I have is accurate. I compared it to a good quality tape measure and it all lines up as it should

No instructions
No instructions came with the vernier. The nose piece is very loose. I compared vs what my optometrist measured and there was a fairly large difference. I ended up returning them.

Measurements are not correct
For me personally, it was very hard to readwhenever trying to do it yourself - even with taking a picture or looking in the mirror. It’s hard to tell which one is accurate.I then grabbed a blank piece of paper and a ruler and marked on the paper from the ruler. The center of the bridge of my nose and the center of my pupils and this was a lot easier and a lot more accurate. I then noticed that the measurements were not correct on this tool so if you are needing to measure your PD, I suggest get a paper and ruler and just do it that way. It will also save a little money in doing so!
