Is it splined in both ends?

No , it is just as pictured . Splined on one side and smooth on the other. I welded mine onto steering shaft then used a splined u-joint👍

Do you have anything longer?

yes its available in 12 inch as well

It is 6 inches long. Splined portion fits well into 5/8-36 U-joint, but the diameter of smooth portion is only .588 inches.
