Daughter was having trouble with someone going in her bag when it was left in a cloakroom at secondary school. Since using one of these locks the problem has been solved. It's sturdy, but also at first glance looks more like a keyring. The loop is like a plastic coated flexi wire and is long enough to secure the 2 zips on her bag together and then push the heart bit back inside her backpack so it's hidden. It's also good for attaching her pe bag to her backpack, so it doesn't get unintentionally left behind.

Airline cut the those locks off my case .. could only find that they were deemed dangerous .. so case travelled unsecured .. weird …

I ordered these as I was going on a city break where pick pocketing is rife. I just wanted one on my handbag as a deterent really.It was easy to use and did the job perfectly. My sister decided to use one for her suitcase however and it wasn't there at baggage collection so I guess it's not strong enough for that, but definitely good for light use.

Does the job perfectly, sturdy without being overly large. Always worried since having to use a rucksack instead of a handbag - need to keep back/carrying weight level, that in a crowd of people unable to keep eye on my purse etc. Feel much happier now.
