Wow, so much fun!
Assembly was easy, once I figured out the pictograms haha.It comes with 2 small pieces of wood and a piece of sheet metal.I used trial software Lightburn and within minutes of having it assembled I was able to etch my company logo onto a wood piece.I have since started etching logos on ceramic tiles. There are a lot of videos on how to these things and if you make a mistake, they are only 39 cents so toss it and adjust the settings and try again. It is awesome to see the results!I do recommend a laser printer for the hobbyist! (And this one is just fine so far, no issues and works great!)

So far so good
Very simple to assemble. Everything came out of the box undamaged due to the care taken during it's packing. Only issue is there is a big learning curve to learning the light burn software or the lasergrbl software. The light burn software is the better choice for this engraver due to the ability to change things around. For beginner use the lasergrbl because it's more like a drag and drop type program. Overall great laser so far.

Only works in wood, try acrylic sheet like the specifications and doesn’t work.
Easy to assemble, but doesn’t work in acrylic try different method and setting only melt the acrylic instead of cutting, no happy with the machine, trying to return it

Missing Nut
The product I received was missing a nut one on the back of the laser arm assembly (the arm on top). While faultfinding I found that of two left were quite loose and the other one was missing (its the three which works together at the back of the laser. This caused the laser to not be stable and I only realised it after a week of struggle and a lot of wasted wood that this was the case. It must have come like this from the manufacturer as it was not part of the assembly instructions. You fit the whole unit as one piece into a slot - you do not assemble anything on this part apart from the actual laser head to the structure.I am testing it with LaserGRBL out now, it did cut sucessfully after 7 rounds of the same pattern through 3mm supawood, did not make it through 3 mm plywood (this was witht he loos nut, perhaps this will change now) so I definitely do not think it will go through 15 mm at all. I am in South Africa, we do not have "Soft" wood available. Since the Youtube vids I checked confirmed the 15mm wood I thought it was a good buy, it was not. I will still use it, but I have to accept a very slow cutting of patterns and that it is not so strong as professed.

I love this thing!
was fairly easy to put together. My manual dexterity isn't the greatest so it may have taken me just a little longer but the directions were pretty easy to follow. As soon as I got it put together, I fired it up and did a couple of simple test engravings and then the moment I have been waiting for...I did the simple cut pictured above in ONE pass! I have a Yora Home and have not been able to do any actual cuts with it. I need to also mention that the focus is pretty simple....there is zero quesswork to it! Super happy that I bought this!

Great value for money + easy assemble and quick results acrylic
I bought this piece as I needed to cut black acrylic sheets. The engraver was easy to assemble. It was easy to connect to a PC while using free Laser RGBL engraving software .The results were quite great, I manage to make the cut nice and smooth with a few trial and error.I also tested 1 cm wood and it perfectly cut it. Cutting clear acrylic was not possible though as laser just go thorough the clear surface.

cutting depth greatly exaggerated?
This machine is built pretty well, and seems to track and lay down accurate laser etching lines.....but....in its description it states that it can cut 1/2 inch thick woood...it came with 1/8 inch thick sample pieces and it took four passes at speed 200mm at full power to start cutting through the wood...I moved the piece before the 5 pass so I ended up having to use an exacto knife on the back side...after which I tried cutting a 1/4 inch thick piece of pine hobby board..with the piece elevated so I could see if the bottom side was being cut through, I reduced the speed to 100mm and after the tenth pass it still wasn't cutting through it??? Maybe defective laser diode?...thinking about returning. Spent $150 more on this model since it stated that it could cut 1/2 inch thick wood....
