These are excellent little toy gliders for kids of all ages. From my two year old granddaughter to my 21 year old son to myself we have thoroughly enjoyed them and gotten literally hours of entertainment. Great value at about 3 for a dollar. They are what I expected and hoped which is simple, sturdy little gliders like those I played with as a kid. Would make excellent party favors. For young kids they are perfect for holding and running around making airplane noises. 2 year old just “helped” assemble it and then spent 2 hours waving it and running around everywhere. As expected It’s now bent battered and missing the tail fin but still being used with a giant grin and major airplane enthusiasm. For older kids and adults They actually fly consistently once you figure out they are designed for a hard fast upward (45 deg) throw and they will accelerate up then do a loop and gracefully glide 20 feet around to the ground. My grown sons and I spent at least an hour in the yard on Father’s Day throwing our planes. Trying different techniques and seeing how they respond, seeing if we could catch them after the loop, trying to hit each other or each other’s planes, etc etc. and that was with just the same first 3 planes we opened. So yeah an older kids or adult can expect to get plenty of use without damage as these are pretty sturdy. And I still have 20 in the bag waiting for my friends and their kids to come over and hangout sometime. The nose cone is absolutely needed for flight due to the weight it adds. The propeller changes the flight a little (slows it down) but can be flown with or without the prop. The nose come and prop have some very small parts so keep away from really young children. For toddlers and young kids you can also skip the small prop and nose cone parts and just let them play with the plane and run around rather than fly it (young kids won’t be able to throw these well enough for good flight anyway). Plus then those small parts are not a hazard. Best $8 I’ve spent in a looong time. Thanks amazon!

They are fun, easy to assemble and not only do they fly, but they have a really neat, non functional but free spin propeller! They are small enough for young children to launch and have fun with and durable enough to last for an afternoon or two without sustaining damage.The quantity insures that you will have a large enough supply to last all vacation season!A great buy and a fun "Bag-O-Planes"!

Planes were lots of fun but I didn’t realize it would have small clip for small propellers. We had a birthday with ages ranging from two to twelve.

Kept the 9 year old kid busy a whole week. Fun putting together and built an airport.. afun time! Great value and just the right number to keep a kid busy.

Gave these out at a dinner party of adults. Everyone had fun putting their plane together. Then we had a hanging hoola-hoop for people to try to fly them through. A lot of laughter and competition. Several fell into the pool but color head. No problems. Everyone love them! Great price.

My son turned 5 years old and his birthday theme was airplanes and he dressed up as a pilot. We thought it was appropriate to have airplanes in the thank you gifts to give to the kids that attended his birthday party. We gave the bags after we cut the cake so most of the kids opened their bags at our house and started to play with them. As they were little I helped them assemble most of the planes and I thought the quality was okay. Some of the planes flew great but others did not. The plastic piece that goes in front of the plane to hold the propeller was snug enough to firmly hold the propeller on some planes but on others it was too loose. The loose planes did not fly as well. Also, these planes were not easy to assemble as the planes are made of softer material so they would bend when I tried to assemble them, which made the planes not fly as well. The kids still have fun with it but next time I would try to find another toy to give away.

Holy crap they actually fly well.Like no joke. They do great!Easy to assemble. Light weight styrofoam material.Propeller is fragile but not needed if it comes off. What matters is the plastic weight in the front it connects too. This adds the weight to the front for it to fly. So if the propeller comes off (one did) it's still just fine to fly. Just don't loose the weight in front.This is for a 5 and 9 year old. They loved the giant styrofoam planes but we have a small yard for that so I got them these. And spare for when they break!They fly great in the house too!Durability? Well.. it's thin styrofoam.. so. Expect breaks. But you get alot of them! So far no broken wings . Just the plastic propeller. Which again is not even needed.
