Ateco Stainless Steel Medium Pyramid Mold, 3.5 by 2.5-Inches High, Silver

Great way for a home chef to give a high-end restaurant plating of rice. Who wants to see a blob of rice on a plate - was inspired after I started packing rice into a high-ball glass and then emptying onto plate - the rice holds its form - and was pleasantly surprised after thinking a rice pyramid would be cool that a mild actually existed. I originally ordered the larger size and returned it w/o trying it - but now wondering if I need both as the M size serving is sufficient, and prolly the healthiest size serving, but I do love jasmine rice. I know - may be OTT, but would be fun to have a S, M, and L size and create a Giza plateau plating.

i use it for rice and let me tell you it is top quality... definetly worth the buy and i got th other larger one and its also good.notice: im a big guy and i like to eat but i say this one is kinda small for a rice serving (again, my own opinion i like to EAT! lol) and the next one up is too big of a serving so... idk i serve individual servings with this smaller one and fill the plate with other things like salad and such so the rice doesnt finish up too quick

I like this mold except that they didn't dull the base edges, and when handling the mold, I sliced my index finger on the base edge. I hope the manufacture, dulls that so no one else get cut like I did. I used sandpaper to sand off the sharp edges on mine, if you already have one, I'd recommend doing the same.

I like this mold quality and easy removal. I put rice in the mold and remove on dinner plate it looks good

I am a chef that likes cooking fancy dinner at home for my family or friends. This product is a perfect size for one person. It looks good in the plate and it is different from other form mold that I have. I made a chocolate mousse and a chocolate cake so far with it and my guests love it. They thought it was lovely and the portion size was perfect. If you want to impress your guests this is a good choice. I am looking forward to buy more molds into different shape.Happy baking.

I bought this product after I purchased a flimsy version of it on ebay and I got to say that this mold was every thing I was looking for in a mold. We are using this mold to pour a polyester resin inside and it works great. I have used it at least 6 times and every time it provides a great product. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a perfect pyramid shape for any application they are using it for.

I can't use both of these molds due to the welding job. . I purchased 4 .. 2 sets and one of each was un useable .two I can use .and they are perfect in size .and look great . And great quality other than the welding job

I've bought these pyramid molds for the last few years, doing lots of resin casting. They used to be higher quality. Each time I buy a new one, it's worse than the batch I purchased the previous time. Now, they've become useless. These mold don't work like they used to. Everything sticks. Everything cracks. Edges and weld lines on the mold are so rough and sharp you can't cast anything inside anymore, at least not if you want it to look professional. If you're using for artwork, epoxy, or other resins, go with something silicone based. These molds are useless for that purpose.
