I think this is going to be very nice for my outside cat. It's pretty sturdy, no problem there and it's roomy enough for two (not huge) cats who get along well. It is very easy assemble. Took me 30 minutes by myself, no problem there either.I saw someone say something about the odor and I don't believe it's chemicals or the paint, although it does not say what it's made of it smells like cedar wood to me. If so this is good because cedar naturally repeals bugs.All in all I like this little house and for the price it's down right a bargin. Although I would not leave it right out in the open exposed weather, would shorten it's usable life span I would think but other than that if need be it can do it for a few years. Maybe someone can comment on that if they had it longer than me. I put mine in a carport anyway because it's convenient for me.Make your outside cat warm, dry and happy, get one for your furry friend.

Ok, the instructions were good. However, it says it should take only 30 minutes to put it together. Not true. It took 30 minutes to unpack and lay out the pieces. Then it took me close to 2 hours to completely complete the assembly, mainly because that there were no starter holes to place the screws as they were self tapping. Fastening the sides to the back was not fun as it kept falling before I could use the screws. Securing the lid was the hardest part because of the way U had to hold it in place by myself, start the screws and try not to let the lid fall. Otherwise, it's looks good after all that work. Probably needs 2 people to assemble this thing.

This insulated cat house is a fantastic product overall. It keeps my outdoor cats(2 adults) warm and comfortable, and they seem to love it. It does the job it’s designed for, and I’m very happy with it. However, I feel there’s always room for improvement, which is why I’m not giving it a full five stars.One suggestion I have is to include a second flap so that both doors can be covered if needed. While the left door is designed to stay closed, I’ve kept it open because my cats prefer it that way, and it encourages them to use the house. Along with labeling, each part typically amused to separate parts, having a little sticker with letters and numbers to follow step-by-step within instruction manual, but in this case, I kind of just had to look at the image and guess properly which piece was which.When I first opened the package, I noticed some shiny material on the wood, which concerned me as I thought it might be fiberglass. Thankfully, it wasn’t—just residue from the styrofoam—but it did require some time to wipe down. Additionally, the pebbled roof material seemed to shed a bit, so there was some extra cleaning involved there as well.Despite these minor issues, the house is sturdy, well-insulated, and overall a great investment for outdoor cats. I do feel the price could be slightly lower, but considering the quality, I’d still consider purchasing a second one to expand for my two fur babies. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to provide warmth and comfort for outdoor cats. I’ll look into giving an update as the winter passes by !

Pink Belle loves it! I'd purchased this as an outdoor shelter for my grandkitty since she refuses to stay in the house. It's easy to put together, and feels sturdy. I may shellac the outside of it to further weatherproof it.There is a slight odor that'll dissipate once it's out of the box it was shipped in.10/10

The Product was fairly easy to assemble. It was of sturdy materials. The little home will be dry and warm for our little beast, who is getting older now. The insulation velcroed to all walls, including floor and roof is perfect.

I ordered two of the cat houses with the insulation option for the several outdoor kittens who frequent my backyard and patio. I was well-pleased with the overall design, and relative ease with which they went together. Like several other customers who had listed reviews, I did drill pilot holes for most of the screws necessary to put it together, but even considering that, the houses were simple to build.I didn't install the winter insulation package until several weeks later when colder weather came, but I was VERY pleased with how it went together, and the overall fit. Like so many other reviews, my cats have so far only poked their heads inside, but I'm guessing they will really enjoy the additional weather protection as Winter gets here! Best of luck! Pros:-easy to assemble-all pieces line up perfectly-liner is well made and fits perfectly- nice size for a small/medium cat (could fit large cat but will be tight)-looks nice-easy open lid/top for ease of cleaningCons:-not great quality, wood is cheap. Chipped and cracked during assembly.-doesn’t seem like it will last very long after raining season- panels have gaps, not really “waterproof”-has a strong odor-does not have a second entrance/exit (escape door)Purchased for a sweet, feral cat that visits daily. Originally planned to keep it out in the yard, but since it does not seem like it can weather a storm, we put under an awning. It will do for now, but would not purchase again.I’d recommend spending a bit more for better quality. Especially if it needs to be waterproof and for outdoor use.

Perfect and warm for our neighborhood cats! Easy to remove pads and clean. Have had this for 3 years so far and perfect condition.
