Love Toshiba. This Dynabook is great
This is the first Dynabook we have ordered we usually get Toshiba laptops. I’m very happy with this so far this Dynabook is wonderful the only problem I’m having is finding a new AC adapter because we stepped on the one that we had and it is broken. It’s not such an easy thing to find a replacement. We already ordered two that don’t fit. So we wrote to the questions section above. Hopefully they can assist us. Otherwise we really like it.Update 3-23-24: we still cannot find a charger that fits right and Toshiba is no help

I LOVE This laptop!!!! Excellent!! Toshiba company.
Dynabook is from the Toshiba line. The laptop is made well. I love it!! There's no need to spend so much on more expensive laptops - this one is used daily and works fantastic!

Good and stable laptop
I'm glad that Toshiba is still in the laptop business, but now carrying the Dynabook label. This is a light and easy to use laptop. My only gripes (why one star is missing) is that it only comes with two USB ports, so using a wireless mouse, one is taken up. It does support USB hubs so you can add more devices, but that makes the setup clumsy when you have a variety of wires coming out of the computer. I also wish it came with a DVD-RW drive, but I have an external that works fine (one more plug-in for the USB hub). Overall, this is a good laptop that boots quickly thanks to the SSD, and the i7 processor. It's also light weight and easy to tote.

Buyer Beware!
If you buy Toshiba/Dynabook better hope you don't need any repairs or product support. Purchased a Satellite Pro laptop and few months later many of keyboard keys stopped working. Since computer was still under warranty tried contacting their customer support. Super difficult to get a live person. when you finally get a live person they are very nice and cordial. Don't be fooled by it. The first time I called the person said to expect repair parts within 2-3 days and then contact from on-site repairman. Surprise - didn't happen.Tried calling back the next week to see what gives. After about eight consecutive tries of being disconnected while working through the automated customer support, I finally was able to "sneak" in and get a live person by going through tech support. Asked this person what was going on with my repair. While also a very nice person he couldn't tell me a thing after putting me on hold and "checking on it" a couple of times. Told the guy I was trying to be patient and understanding but I really needed my laptop. He said he understood and suggested I go buy a bluetooth keyboard if really needed to use the laptop.I can understand sometimes there are parts acquisition issues. I can understand sometimes the ball gets dropped. What I don't understand is absolutely 0 follow-up communication from the company when they say they will. I mean A 7 month old, $900 laptop and customer support answer is to go buy an auxiliary keyboard. Really? So as my headline says, think long and hard before buying Toshiba/Dynabook.

Toshiba quality and right components...Great Everyday Laptop
Toshiba Dynabook Satellite Pro C50-J is a high-quality and fast everyday use traditional laptop.CPU: Intel Core i7-1165G7 2.8GHz - 12th generation CPUs around BUT still on the expensive side and i7 11th generation processors still awesome and so fast.Storage: KIOXIA Toshiba Nvme 512 GB SSD - Not the best but not the worst either, This model SSD write and read speed is kinda on the slow side if we compare similar price tag SSDs BUT it is an SSD and it will be much much faster than an HDD.Memory: Samsung 1x16 GB 3200 Mhz Ram - Excellent! Samsung is one of the most trustable brands and they make high-quality memories 3200 Mhz is on the fast side. This is a single 1x16 GB Ram which means if your laptop starts to slow in the future, you can add 16 GB more RAM easily to your laptop and make it 32.Screen: 15.6 Inc 1920x1080 Max Screen Resolution NO Touch Screen and Screen quality is not bad for this price range. Only blacks kinda have a little light reflection from the inside of the screen but I am sure not many users will notice that. Also, for me, no touch screen is the best. Why the world do I need a touch screen laptop? I just do not get it BUT some people like it and even want a touch screen laptop. So this depends on what you like I guess.Case - Material: Hard Plastic but well made and feels goodGraphics Card: Intel Iris Xe - If you are not familiar with the graphic cards, this is an integrated low-profile graphic card and this hardware doesn't use a separate memory bank for graphics/video. Instead, the GPU uses system memory that is shared with the CPU. So that means do not expect to play the AAA games at 60 FPS at all and do not expect this laptop to give you a high-performance video editing experience at all. BUT that is not mean you can not play any game with this laptop. NO, you will not have any issue playing popular games that aren't as graphics-intensive and some old AAA games like GTA V or Assassin's Creed III: Liberation or Baldurs Gate 3 can playable very high FPS. Final Fantasy XIV, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Civilization VI at 1080p resolution and 30 FPS. Even Microsoft Flight Simulator is playable, though only at 720p resolution with low detail settings. Older, popular games like Rocket League, Counter-Strike, and League of Legends easily exceed 60 fps at 1080p resolution and medium or high detail settings. Long story short this graphic card is very acceptable for this price tag.I also put the laptop on multitasking test which is I opened 15 google chrome tabs with some of them playing videos, I opened 5 Word documents, 3 Excel documents, 2 PowerPoint files at the same time, and I move 128 files from the laptop (totally around 2 GB) to one of my SSD external hard drive and laptop handle all of them pretty good. No lag or any weird thing happens. Conclusion: For $899 Toshiba Dynabook Satellite Pro C50-J is worth your hard-earned money. Remember this is for today's date and which is June 14, 2022. In time this price tag must go down and new model laptops will rise. This is how this market goes. Again for today's market HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
