Great camping stove
I have had this for a fairly short amount of time, so things may change. What I am finding so far is:1. Reasonably light and well thought out design overall.2. Quick and easy to setup and get cooking. I wouldn't manhandle the thing. It goes together easy enough and my gas sniffer can't find any leaks. I put the regulator in a plastic bag before storing in the stove so it is not thumping around in there as I transport the stove.3. Easy to clean, granted my stove already has some stains on it. Nothing that is not expected and overall the most visible parts of the stove clean up quick and look great at this point.4. It takes a little practice to get the heat right. This stove can get blazing hot if you want and with no wind and a high setting, you can burn your food to a crisp in an instant. Plus those starter fingers get glowing hot and I have to wonder how good (or bad) an idea it is to have those glowing hot. If there is some wind, even though this has some wind shielding, the settings that work fine with no wind won't hardly cook your food at all. So with some experience and getting used to how the flame looks under various lighting conditions and such, you can dial it in under a number of conditions and get your food cooked right. I generally shoot for the range of the starter fingers are either not glowing at all, just barely under that threshold or only glowing a bit if there is some wind and this usually cooks at a good rate. A fair amount of wind and those starter fingers end up glowing a fair amount to get the heat right.5. A 1lb tank should last you for days unless you are really doing a whole lot of cooking. Getting an adapter hose to hook up to a much larger tank also works fine, but you probably want to plan ahead a little and shut off the valve to a lager tank a few minutes before you are done cooking in order to purge the line. Of course with a 1 lb tank there is no line to purge, so doesn't apply.I am thinking what I should probably do next time I cook with it is get out my heat gun and take measurements of the cookware to see how hot it is getting. The stove itself is dead simple and easy to operate, which is good. It is just a question of how good the operator is at using the stove.

Perfect Workhorse Option
I ditched the 3-1 Coleman stove and got this instead together with the Lodge cast iron griddle/grill. What a difference! Perfect size and functions, sturdy, and WAY easier to keep clean. I loved the knobs and how you can micro-adjust the flames. The starter didn't work that great but we always have the clicker things handy when we camp anyway so no big deal. This is the next level up from the standard one you find a Walmart - I chose this model instead and paid the extra money. I wasn't disappointed. This thing will take me into my golden years.

Quick setup
My wife and I just returned from a cross country road trip. Our Coleman stove was the star of the trip. When we would arrive at each stop along the way, day or night, our stove was instantly ready for cooking or heating up water for coffee or tea. There are no sharp edges and the windshields snapped into place in a nanosecond. Great design, great product with push button firing that always lit up.

Very happy. This is a good product for a fair price in my opinion
This is perfect. I was surprised by the heat output. My stove at home is not even close to being as powerful.

Great propane stove except for one darn thing
This stove puts out a lot of heat but can be adjusted down to a low output. It's light, fast to set up, and collapses to a nice carryable size. However, the feet that keep the stove lifted off your table top, are just powder coated domes with the same finish as the rest of the stove. The problem is that these "feet" have very little friction on a hard surface so the whole stove can go sliding easily if it's resting on a hard surface.I bought some rubber bumpers designed for cars (search black rubber automotive bumpers) - the kind that have the narrow extension so they can be pulled into a hole. I drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the center of the four "feet" and inserted four of these bumpers and now the stove stays where I put it.

Impressive range
This propane stove can do it all, when you take the time to cook on it. There is a learning curve people! That being said, it's a short one, if you know how to cook and have experience cooking with fire. Different pots and pans give you different results. So I use aluminum for water based cooking, also some frying. For every thing else case iron. Here my review. I get 5 to 6 hours on a 1lb of propane. There has never been a reason for me to run the stove at full tilt. Keep in mind I have not cooked in any weather below 48 degrees yet. Every stove is a system you must take the time to learn. I think the stove has a break in period?. One or two 1lb bottles of course. It could be I have a learning curve of two bottles. Any way it seem after that the stove heats and cook more efficiently. Or it could be me. What I'm saying is, it gets the meals cooked and they are good. So far everything from soups, stews, chillies, meats, vegetables even some breads. Subject change. Wind resistance!! Must use common sense, if it still exists!! It take a little longer to cook when the wind is over 7 to 9mph. I found the issue is the contro knob side. So help yourself buy using something to shield that side a little. So everything works, good flame control if you eyeball it for simmering. Finesse people, use it it does work. Remember that breakin period. Simmer works great after not so much before. Nothing has broken or melted. Clean up is easy, hot water soap. The paint hasn't chipped or cracked. Oh be for I forget, the metal fuel line with regulator. Hold the regulator with the part that goes in the bottle face up and even with the stove. This will make threading the tube go faster. Or so it did for me! All in all great product. Nothings perfect, look at yourself. If your honest, oh well!!! The stoves not perfect but it gets the job done everytime. Can't say anything about longevity but I will update if anything changes. The legs are smooth so it will slide on you. When I have a fix, will add it. Enjoy.
