So I do a decent amount of nature photography and as such I'm outside quite a bit. Recent bought one of these so I can stay out even while it's raining without risking my gear. Let me tell you, it works great. Yes, you are effectively wearing a tarp (it even advertises that it can be used as a small makeshift tent, though I don't ever see myself using it as such) but the important thing is that it is a lightweight but waterproof tarp. Now I will say that the day I used it was a pretty hot and humid one, so while I was dry from the rain it did get a bit stuffy with it on but overall it wasn't a huge issue. It's big enough that it effectively covered me and my camera bag, and once the rain stopped everything was still perfectly dry. Heck, I went to put it away in my bag afterward but was worried about putting a now soaking wet poncho in my bag, but good news: it was pretty much perfectly dry due to the material being hydrophobic. If you want something that's light, effective, durable, and cheap this is exactly what you need.

Great poncho. Very compact. Fully waterproof but may be somewhat muggy inside it. Handy and accessible in preparing for rain. Dark green color.

Used this poncho in a rain storm, camping recently. Kept me dry and did not get in the way. Hood works best if you wear a ball cap. Looking forward to utilizing the grommets to create a simple shelter. Only down-side: in warm weather it will get hot under it. Overall, very pleased!

Excellent product. Sturdy material; not too thick so it is very easy to roll up and store in its bag. However, won't tear easily like a lot of other ponchos which appear to be meant to be disposable. Rolls up quite small, so easy to carry in any day bag. Hood can be adjusted so won't get blown off in the wind. Length will protect all the way down to knees, depending on your height. You can even sit on wet benches and stay dry. Used these for a three week trip to Europe that had a lot of rain days. They allowed us to spend hours in the rain; without them it would have been impossible.

Great Value for the price; held up good in the Seattle/Alaskan rain. Nice weight and very comfortable. Very roomy in size, flattering. Ordered black color when I should have ordered another color as black is so common.

How do you ride a roller coaster on the pouring down rain at Disney world in late August? With this poncho. Random afternoon storm rolled in, and my friend and I were able to ride Expedition Everest in the pouring rain and stay mostly dry. Face got a little wet at you would absolutely expect but my body and bag remained dry and we were the envy of every rider who did not bring a ponchoI loved the print on this as well as the weight of the material, the size and length, the ability to cinch the neck and button or unbutton the sides, the half zip, the front pocket, and its packability. Highly highly recommend this for your next Disney world adventure!!!

I bought this poncho after continuously getting soaked at my son’s spring football games while I wore my winter jacket.This poncho is amazing! It is well worth the price! Very thick, easy and comfortable to wear. It’s kept me 100% dry.Perfect for sports parents! Buy one for your entire family. Love the storage pouch.

Overall ok but for the one with zipper, it leaks at the front and made my shirt completely soaked. It's also fairly short at the arms even though I'm only 5'7". It is, however, big/roomy enough cover my backpack so it serves its primary purpose in my use case.

Nice rain poncho. Perfect for my need. The print is great and the nylon seems fine tough thin. This is a great emergency rain poncho.

The zipper is a nice touch on this brand's poncho. I'm 5'7 and the arm length is great. My 6'3 friend tried it on and the arms go to just past his elbows so his arms would get wet. Hood is a good balance between big and roomy and not too loose to let wind and rain in. I normally buy big hoods and I'm happy. The visor is functional. Haven't worn it outside yet.

I haven’t used under the rain but the material looks good.
