Great 350W powered speakers. Great sound, great power
Smiles all around. What a thumper!! A fabulous balanced xlr cable powered speakers. It sounds amazing. It's relatively compact, relatively light weight to carry and that's about the only light weight thing about this speaker. It's very simple to use. Volume gain for speaker and Mic and that's you're lot. If youre looking for something, punchy 350w, quick and ready to go and remember it's a xlr cable required, then this is a great option and great value for money. I recently played at a pub, for a 70th birthday party and this was absolutely perfect

Very good value from ALTO sonically…
The media could not be loaded. These are a certainly a step up from the previous version of this speaker, the TX210 from ALTO. The sound quality has dramatically improved with much more clarity across all the frequencies. I’m testing these with an iPhone 12 using Apple’s lightening to 3.5mm dac dongle running into RCA to XLR. Plenty of detail retrieval in the music especially for a budget/entry level PA speaker and certainly a lively enough sound that will give a bit more to the party. Highs are crisp and accurate, vocals are clear, bass is pleasingly tight and punchy but if you want more boom for your buck then go for the 12 or even 15. Straight out of the box these sound good and with a little EQing these will sound even better. These are a preferential buy for the house and small parties in the back garden…terraced housing UK…where the 12 and 15 inch would be overkill and likely headache for my neighbours! I think the TX310s fit this bill perfectly. You could opt for the Alto’s TS410 but in my case I just did not want that much power. The TX310 at 1.00 oclock on the volume pot using the iPhone is pretty loud considering it’s not a strong source and I haven’t maxed out the phones volume either! Using a decent DJ controller (even entry level) will increase source strength quite dramatically and so these will be plenty loud for a typical UK terraced house without being blatantly obnoxious which can often be tempting with speakers with greater output like Altos TS4 range but even with the TX310 you might still get a complaint or two. Build quality is decent and newly designed cabinet is another big improvement over the previous generation of this speaker. This speaker is not at all heavy in fact even boxed as it was when the rather helpful Amazon driver delivered these I was surprised by the gross weight when picking these up. I like this speakers weight or the absence of it. It’s so easy to lug around and added to the big improvement in sound quality what Alto has achieved here is great for the end user like me. In conclusion, worth every penny paid. Oh, before I forget there is only one speaker playing in the video as I didn’t have an RCA Y splitter at the time of writing this review, sounds pretty good doesn't it?

Fantastic for small gigs
I've used these are two different venues doing open mic stuff. First was a bar with lots of rooms and very difficult to set-up for, and the second a bar that is very open planned. Both can fit around 100-150 people. No where near that on the night unfortunately. The volume was left at 0db on the back of the speakers (not sure why it has a line and MIC measure as there is only an XLR input) and it was more than loud enough for both of the gigs. At the first bar I didn't even have much volume being pushed to it from the desk. The second one I did the same set-up with the same volumes set and the proprietor asked me to turn it down on a couple of occasions. That was quickly ignored when playing as the football team were singing louder than the PA at that point. But overall I would recommend this massively for your smaller gigs. The main reason I bought these were for the fact they were so lightweight. I can carry both in at the same time rather than some of my other speakers that would have to struggle just bringing one in to a venue. I believe that if you had a sturdy enough bag and small enough desk you could easily carry them around like a pack horse. If you're doing your own small open mic/gigs I would recommend them.

Good sound
I purchased this speaker sound quality was good but for me once the room filled up with more than 60 peole the speaker wasnt loud enough for me the hall i was in was medium sized however in a small hall i think they would have been perfect ive returned them with np im now considering getting the 12 " ones

Sounds good, and is solidly made.
Sounds good, and is solidly made. Claimed power output is absurd - it only consumes 150 watts, so even with class D efficiency, it can't be putting out more that 90% of that. Loud enough for what I want it for (vocal monitor)

This active speaker ticks all of the boxes for my needs as a singer-songwriter
Pros:1. This is a very decent speaker for the money (£165), and suits my needs, as I only need it for home use or for use at intimate gigs.2. The build quality is excellent, and the speaker looks very aesthetically pleasing.3. The speaker has a lovely tone, with a good range of lows, mids and highs.4. The speaker has a female out XLR input for additional connectivity purposes.Cons:1. the speaker has an XLR input, but it has no Bluetooth or aux connections. This was not a deal-breaker for me, as I use a 3.5 mm jack to XLR adapter, which produces a lovely sound from the speaker.2. The speaker is only 350 W, so it might not be suitable for larger venues. However, this fits my needs, as I will mainly be using it for home use or at gigs in smaller venues, as I have already stated above. Conclusion:Although more feature-rich active speakers are available, I did not find any in this price range, and the additional cost for the extra features seemed an additional expense that I did not need at this time. The price is very competitive, and the speaker provides good functionality for home or for use at smaller venues. I have a YouTube channel, and I have had some very positive feedback from my subscribers regarding the quality of the audio from this active speaker. In summary, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this speaker to others.
