The fabric is very soft and it holds up in the pool. We love it so much.

We first bought the pink stripe one. It fit well and our child liked it, but it became completely transparent when wet - really inappropriate! I cannot believe any of the 5 star reviews for the lighter colors!Since our child liked it a lot, we decided to give it another chance and bought the black flower version. Again, it fit well and this color did not have the problem of being transparent. However, in spite of hand washing and line drying it, the color has completely faded within just 5 months! It looks old and awful - nothing like the original.I am purchasing something else now and would advise against buying this brand.
