Perfect for colonial costume. My son loved this and it actually made it through the day in a 5th grade classroom

So incredibly disappointing. A gift for a dear little boy dressing as Gen. Ulysses S. Grant for school, this thing isn`t even sturdy enough for adult dress up!!! Made of extremely thin and fragile, cheap, plastic, its parts could break at a light touch, esp. the attached small horizontal piece that moves up and down. The cool looking sheath or scabbard to hold it falls off if one slightly tips it over when holding the sword up...you simply cannot hold the sword downward by its handle when in the scabbard, for it will immediately fall off. What awful junk!!! This should never be sold for anything less that $1.00 at the Dollar Store. Phooey!

Cheap. Breaks easily and comes apart. Looks cool though..

Our grandson was not able to use the sword with his Civil War costume because we were sent the wrong costume, and they costume was sold out by the time we were able to reorder. The sword would have been a nice accent for the civil war costume. He was very disappointed he could not dress up as a Civil War soldier, but will enjoy playing with it later.

This has been well used and loved- I’m surprised how long it’s lasted.

Bought this for my son's Alexander Hamilton costume (couldn't find a Revolutionary War toy sword), and he loved it. It has held up with lots of playing.
