I ordered two chimneys. They arrived well packaged and intact.Due to a previous reviewer, I had goo off on hand. The stickers came off and the chimneys were sturdy enough I wasn't concerned about breakage.They fit my modern bought and 50's era bases both.I am quite content with these chimneys. They look good, fit, and are sturdy.

Looks okay for the lamp

Very inexpensive replacement for a globe that we broke. The measurements were very accurate; in fact I chose this one because the dimensions shown were complete, and as it turns out, accurate.Packaged well for transit. It is fragile, but arrived in perfect condition. Looks nice and fits right - we are using it in an electric candle. I can't comment on whether or not it would be suitable for a lantern/candle with a real flame.

Bought as a last backup prep IF elec goes down for long time. Purchased to top a oil lamp burner that screws on a mason jar.. Fits and only time will tell if it works. Hope it sits on the shelf never used.

I have an oil lamp that I like to use on my patio. It's a nice little lamp, but the chimney was very thin, fragile looking glass. I was cleaning it and it broke in my hands even though I was being very gentle. I bought this as a replacement, and it's the chimney that the lamp SHOULD have come with. It's much heavier duty and is a perfect fit replacement. Measure the base of your current chimney to make sure it fits, but it seems to be a pretty standard size. I take this one off to wash it off frequently without worrying about breakage. It's a great replacement!

I bought this lamp years ago at an antique store, and it has been a well-used companion through several moves. In the last move, the glass fell and shattered. I measured the base and ordered this glass chimney hoping it would do the trick, and it has worked perfectly! I came in great condition with no imperfections. They do exactly what is expected of them, they block breezes and wind, and draw updraft for your oil lamp to work properly.Nothing fancy, they are not expensive, they work, and they look like they should.They come in 6 packs, so I bought two packs, just to have extras on hand should friends or neighbors break one or not have enough.When Hurricane Ike came through here a few years back, the isles in Walwart and other stores, had empty shelves where oil lamp parts and oil were displayed, everything sold out. Don't let this happen to you, be prepaired. Have extras on hand, if not for you, but for your family, friends and neighbors.These Westinghouse Oil Lamp Globes are the best deal around.
