CLIO Extreme Gelpresso Pencil Liner 01 Black Brown

I was looking for a matte (not sparkly), deep brown eyeliner that glided on smoothly. I give this a 9/10, I do wish the deep brown was a bit darker than it is. Otherwise, it is a beautiful shade of brown that has a soft, natural look. You can easily build up the line from thin to thicker, and once it's on it stays on all day. I am in my late 40's and this glides smoothly over my wrinkly eyelids. I love not having to use a sharpener and dealing with the shavings. I used to be a Rimmel Exaggerate user, but it's worth the little bit of extra money to have a good quality, daily eyeliner!

I got shade 01, which is a perfect dark brown that still looks really dark and not too red/orange. I do wish they had this product in a true black color as well, which seems like an odd miss. This is now my favorite gel eyeliner because it goes on really smoothly without tugging, and it sets down so that it doesn't smudge throughout the day. You get a lot of product in this one compared to a lot of other twist-up gel pencils, including others from the same brand, though it might be because it's also thicker. Despite the thickness, I find it easy to control and draw as a thinner line.

I have two CLIO gel pencil eyeliners. A light brown from the Sharp So Simple line, and a darker brown from this line.I bought the Sharp So Simple eyeliner first. I absolutely loved it, I have asian eyes and this solved all the problems I had with eyeliners. It didn’t budge and it was so easy to apply. My only upset was that I bought to light of a brown for my skin tone. So when I went to buy a darker eyeliner, I thought I would try out this line since it was so hyped.I was disappointed in the fact that the liner is very thick. I’m not a precision eyeliner girly by a long shot, but this is just too thick to work with. If I could sharpen it, I wouldn’t be making such a fuss over it, but it’s a twisting gel liner. I have to use a brush to apply it, and it can dry on the brush and pick up the product I try to put on. That being said..It’s a good eyeliner. If I hadn’t seen the potential the Sharp So Simple liners had, I probably would’ve liked this much more. It doesn’t budge, it’s harder to apply than the SoS liner, but it’s thicker as well so that’s a given. I just wish I could’ve bought a darker shade in the SoS instead.

Loved the color, loved the application. Something about it made it very smooth when applying compared to other pencils.

my favorite eyeliner. Lasts all day even through the rain. It also does not smudge at all. It stays on the face for such a long time. This would be my third time rebuying.

Perfect color for cool toned girlies. Highly pigmented but not overwhelming, applies super easily. If you are cool toned with blue eyes this will make your eyes POP. I get compliments every time I wear it.

Way too creamy. It smudges away very easily but sets down if you leave it alone. Not the best color payoff or wear time.

Transitioning from the Colourpop gel liners to this one was the best decision ever! With the Colourpop ones I was having to reapply my eyeliner multiple times per day because it would just melt off, this one has been amazing. It lasts all day, is the perfect color, and seems so much higher quality!
