OE Part 2014 Chevy Traverse LTZ
So far so good! 2014 Chevy Traverse LTZ, absolutely the worst job I've done on this vehicle but the part was an OE starter for half of the cost. I haven't had great luck with auto parts on Amazon but this came in an oe box brand new. Fires up beautifully now! I'll update if my view changes but right now I feel like I got a good deal

Great OEM starter but a real PITA to install!
Used for a 2012 Acadia Denali AWD. The starter itself is of great quality and is oem which is a big plus for me! And it came over night at 8:30 in the morning this Memorial Day! Major plus for me! You will have to reuse your original heat shield and the nut for the big power wire. No biggie! Just don’t lose it! The job itself…..well….. that’s another story! Pull the exhaust manifold heat shield (3 10mm bolts), unplug the 02 sensor but do not remove it, work the heat shield off pulling the 02 sensor wire thru the heat shield hole. Now you’ll see 3 15mm nuts that holds the converter to the exhaust manifold. Take them off ( use PB blaster or WD40 and let soak for a bit). Now under the vehicle. You’ll see the bottom of the converter with a 2 bolt flange. Those are 13mm. Take them off. One of mine did snap the stud so I had to use my cut off wheel and drill to drill a new hole. I had a long enough 3/8” bolt, nut, and lock washer to make it a thru hole. Hope this doesn’t happen to you! If so I hope you have a grinder with part off wheels and a drill and drill index! But now drop the converter down until the top studs clear the manifold. Now spin the converter 180 degrees around and drop it down past the exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe does have 1 15mm bolt in a bracket that needs to be removed. Now on the engine block directly behind the starter is the knock sensor. Using a 1/4” drive and 13mm socket and extension, remove the single bolt that holds it to the block. You do not have to unplug the sensor! This will allow the starter to have room to pull out of the transmission housing. Then lastly remove the 2 15mm bolts holding the starter up. Drop it down and remove single wire solenoid clip, and the 13mm nut on the big main wire. Then reverse in this exact order for install! Hope this helps!!!

07 Buick Lacrosse 3.0 starts better than it ever has.
The 07 Buick lacrosse 3.0 would not start. (Dec 2024) swapped it out and replaced the main 300amp fuse, which was blown by the old starter. Now the engine starts better than it ever has. Old vs new (both ac delco) new one is hundred times better. Can't go wrong with oem.
