This is a great family birthday reminder for me. (We have 26 grandchildren to keep track of.) 🥰 I like that the plaque itself has a tree printed on it and comes with a set of hearts and small Velcro adhesives that can be arranged on the tree. Our children’s names and birthdays will be put there, and so will my husband’s and mine. The grandchildren’s names and birthdays will be on the dangles hanging below the name of each month.I saw the comments where others mentioned that fine sharpies bled their ink on the wood charms. I used a frixion pen and eraser. It wrote beautifully on the pieces and if, in the event I wrote a number or letter not to my liking, it erased with no problem and yet, turned out very nicely.One other thing that others may find helpful is that when applying the rings to the wood charms, start from the bottom of your string of charms and work up (especially with the hearts). So much easier.I will enjoy this so much. No more writing and rewriting names over and over every year on a new calendar. No more rifling through the desk for the book of birthdays. There they are—right where I can keep perfect track of them year after year. It would make the perfect gift! Too bad no one thought of giving me one of these before I bought it myself! 😄

Took time to get all the dates from the family. Decided to do birthdays and anniversaries. Plenty of circles and hearts to use for how you want to put the dates down. DO NOT USE SHARPIE!!! the sharpie will bleed and make it difficult to read! Regular pens work well. They are also easy to paint (I did for my grandma's siblings and her kids and grandkids) I used acrylic paint. The small hearts for the top can be placed anywhere, cut a picture family members and used regular stick glue, this has kept the photo on the heart without any difficulties. My grandma loved it as a Christmas present and it still has plenty of room for any future events!!

This was a Birthday Gift for my Mother. What do you get someone who has everything they could ever need? I like to give Special, Meaningful Gifts. This sure was a hit. She Loved it so much. Was this an easy project? Not at all, especially when she has so much on the calendar. Lol but it was fun and well worth all the time spent on it. Trying to take pictures of her calendar without her noticing, priceless! I purchased the paint pens on Amazon too! The heart rocks were something I have had laying around for a long time and they finally came in handy for this project. It took a long time to complete but it was worth it in the end. I wanted to add the color to them because if my mom ever starts having problems with her memory, they are color coded for the months so it's easier to remember. When I got this all the disc's were the same color so I bought paint and made it what I wanted it to be.

Great way to remember important dates and it looks cute!

I gave this to my 85 year old parents one with Alzheimer’s. To help remember birthdays. The reason for the 3 stars, was I had to use 4 different markers before I found one that didn’t bleed into the wood when writing names. ( the ones that bled into the wood where unreadable ). Thank goodness I had extra wood hearts and circles.
