Sturdy Covers AC Defender - Full Mesh Air Conditioner Cover - AC Cover - Outdoor Protection

I just had air conditioning installed at my house, and noticed that leaves from a nearby aspen tree were starting to get inside the unit. I purchased this to keep the unit clear from debris. It fit perfectly, was easy to install, and is working as intended. The material it is made out of is of good quality. The cover does not appear to have any negative effect on the operation of the condenser. Would highly recommend this to anyone with an outdoor A/C unit.

I'm using it on my pool heat pump. We have a ton of helicopters and cotton. My pump is 30" x 34" so I bought the 32" x 32" hoping it would even out.... it did! Fits perfect.Follow up after one summer: it held up very well even with repeated washing. It does stop some of the cottonfuzz but only some of it. Much of it gets through. I routinely took it off and cleaned it with the hose, dried it on the line and vacuumed the fuzz out of the heat pump coils. It does help but if I were to purchase one again for the cotton, I would try one with smaller mesh holes but then it might get too clogged and overheat. Nothing will likely replace vacuuming the fuzz out periodically. Good Luck!

This mesh cover made by Sturdy Covers seems to be made very well and of quality material. While it has only been in use for about 2 months, it has not shown any wear. Only time will tell as to it's long term durability.It is installed on a Goodman heat pump that has measurements of 29"w x 29"l x 36" h. The cover dimensions as stated in the item description are 32"w x 32"l x 36"h. The cover almost seems to be made for this heat pump. There is a little extra room, but it is not sloppy in the least. With a draw string and nylon webbing with plastic buckle, it really makes it secure.In summary, it seems to be made well. Fits pretty much true to size. Also, it does a fine job keeping large and surprisingly, some really small debris out of the heat pump.

Appears thick, sturdy and well made. Measurements for fit are accurate. Hopefully it filters out cottonwood.

Excellent! Had AC maintenance check up on our less than 5 yr carrier AC system. We have cottonwood and lots of trees, dirt and debris. Never had thought of a cover until it was mentioned on this check up visit. Carrier cover was $225. I was thrilled to find this on Amazon for such a terrific price. Perfect fit. Easy to put on. Bought mesh for summer and canvas type for winter when AC not in use. I'm sure the cottonwood will still settle in but the layer of mesh will certainly help reduce the wear on system and make cleaning easier! At this price, can't go wrong. Thank you for the product!!

This full mesh ac cover has the mesh holes wider than most others. This is really important so that the condenser doesn't have to work harder at expelling air and therefor possibly creating an overload. I would suggest that before you put it on your unit that you tighten the pull cord for the bottom somewhat and then adjust for more or less tightness after draping the condenser -much easier than trying to do it all while bending down to that level...I would recommend this product.
