Works for what was needed, can go quite far and still have a clear call. Wish it was louder, it could be way better if they would had thought about people that use these with hard hearing or when using it in noisy environments.

Phone stop working in second month & try to complain about it but they said it’s not guaranteed after 30 days .

It works great on our ranch reaches to our shop very well. The only problem with the hand set in the house that it will keep ringing when one of our other phones are answered in the house.

We have metal buildings and concrete block buildings on 3 acres. This phone does what no other cordless phone has been able to do. Allow us to talk in every building on our property!! It is wonderful to know, no matter where we are, we can answer the phone. As a business this is critical. The phone lines for all but one building became damaged and replacing them was too expensive so we've tried different versions of several phone systems (Panasonic and AT&T to name two) and the EnGenius Technologies FreeStyl 2 is the only one to work. The others were pure static, even when we would stand outside. I know the En Genius phones seem expensive, but when you add up all the cost of all the phones we tried that didn't work, we spent more than the EnGenius Technologies FreeStyl 2 and 5 handsets we bought.So why only 4 stars. Well, these phones are not perfect. The volume simply isn't loud enough for my husband. Even at full "6" (the highest it goes), he can barely hear it. And when he switches to speaker phone it frequently starts breaking up. For me, it is really hard to get my ear centered over the speaker. And I don't like how the CID works. It is cumbersome to go through the process unless you want to delete all. All of these issues were something we couldn't know until we tried the phones. And we will put up with it because they work.I would probably have overlooked the flaws if this phone offered call blocking. For some reason, I can't get this phone to recognize the call block feature offered by my phone company either. No deduction of stars because I knew it didn't call block, although I didn't know it wouldn't recognize the phone companies feature either.All in all, if you have lots of buildings, spread over a large lot, this phone should work for you! We will never go back.

It’s for the hotel use, we have 3 floors and it reaches to all floors including the parking lot.Little expensive but worth the investment.It does have features for the auto off and lock on the phone, just like cell phone.

I purchased this handset after the old one broke after 4 years of use. It is a great product to add to the Engenius base. Great quality and best price around!
