It a fast charger for Samsung devices. Its not super fast charger which is fine. The manufacturer describes it as ultra fast which is misleading. Overall it's functional as does the job. Good quality brand.

I ordered two, one for each side of the master bed. Just over 3 months later and the USB ports on one do not work. Switched lightning cords back and forth to confirm it was the USB ports and not cables. It is past the return window. I do not recommend these based on my experience, but I guess I'll be ordering another one so they match. Not happy.

Only 1 of the 2 USB-C ports work. Item no longer available on Amazon. Stuck with an over-priced defective outlet.

I purchased 8 of these outlets and I have the same problem with all of them. The contacts inside are bad. Any time I try to plug into it I have to wiggle and fight to get my plugs in. My customer asked me to remove all of them because she couldn't use them. There was no comment on the USB, just the AC plug.

So, its not hard to find an outlet with USB-C but a real pain in the tail to find one that actually will support Samsung Fast Charging. This one does. Easy to install. Due to the nature of what's required to assemble this product, the more room you have in the box the better. It won't work with a small junction box, definitely not with an 'old work shallow' junction box. The thing is big because it does a lot. So give it some room.
