Used these for a craft project, staining little laser-cut wooden leaves. Poured each stain into a plastic tray & just dunked in the leaves for a minute, then lifted out to dry on kitchen roll. Really pleased with the results! Excess poured back into the little bottles for next project.

I am really pleased with this wood stain in Red Cedarwood. It provides a warm, rich colour and is easy to apply and easy to clean as it is water based. The product dries quite quickly and am now thinking of ordering a larger quantity for the fence. This is good quality and would imagine that other colours in this range would be equally as good. I used this to stain a door sill and it’s done a good job. Nice colour, and good coverage. I got a few coats on it and then sealed it once dry. A few months on it still looks perfect. Nice and easy clean up of the brush which I like!

A really good paint for garden furniture. This table and chairs had never been painted before, so this was a restoration project really. Easy to apply, and drys very quickly.Did take 2 coats, and also benefited from applying the recommended teak oil afterwards.Very pleased with end results. This colour is the grey.

Has taken 2 x 250ml bottles of Moss Green to do one 1.5 metre picnic bench. Rather less coverage than stated. Otherwise easy to apply and very natural looking colour.

Our old 5ft bench was in much need of bringing back to life and this product did a fantastic job. I used a cloth to apply and it took 2 coats with topping of teak oil.

Great colours, goes on great with a cloth.

I bought this set as I am working on a long term project to build a wooden ship model and I will need to stain some of the veneers and wood strips later on, so this is a perfect way of working out what stain will work best. I have included a picture of the test strip I made for illustration.These tester sets are a great idea, along the same lines as paint testers. You get to try the product, see how it performs and make sure it it suitable for the project you are working on before you commit to a larger amount of the stain.I bought the browns set but there are other tester colours available, so if you have some wood that need s staining and you're not sure exactly what you might need then a set of these is a perfect buy. Try them out on the materials you are working with and you can also experiment with finishes like sanding and varnishing too so you can bulk buy in confidence.I would recommend these tester sets as a great value and very practical idea when you need to know how a stain will look on whatever you're working on.
