This is a great, deep, small, gasketed, waterproof, JB. Hardware, latches and hinges are 316 SS. There is a back plate for mounting items, but only short screws, so if your item is deep, like my emergency PB switches, you will need to get 5mm x .8 pitch machine screws. Of course Amazon sells a pack of 10 50mm long for $6. You won't find them in the local hardware store.LOL - I closed the box on a hot day and it sealed so well I couldn't open it on a cold day, air contracted. Yup, it seals!!!!

I had a standard round security camera box but it was just too small. I needed room to add a POE splitter and audio connections. This box was perfect in size ( I did not want a wide one) and cost. Good quality also.

I got this to hold a circuit board in a closet for an alarm system. The cover is hinged with secure latches and it is solidly built. For my application, I had to make some holes in it in strategic locations. There are no knockouts for that, but that was fine for me. I can't speak to weather tightness, because I am using it indoors.

I promise I'm not an idiot, but the box wouldn't open. The seal had basically glued the box shut somehow. I returned it with no issue.
