This Halva brand Salmiakki candy is really tasty very salty and there are a variety of different licorice flavors come in the pack. This is the best Salmiakki I’ve tried so far.

Tastes very authentic and rich, just like how real licorice tastes. Kinda spicy too because of the salt. Really not as bad as some people say, and I have no issue with enjoying this candy.

If anyone is reading this, you already know what this product tastes like -- with extreme salt and edible ammonia, and licorice base. In other words ... horribly addictive! I lived in Finland for a year and Norway for several months, and was astounded at the grocery store where almost an entire aisle was devoted to licorice. BLISS!!!! Anyway, this Halva candy is my favorite, and well worth the price. The shipper does fantastic job, and it is a much cheaper source than flying to Finland to procure yourself! However, if you do fly to Finland, make sure to schedule your trip during the annual herring festival in Helsinki. You'll thank me for this! ... or maybe not. Feelin' the love!

I’m addicted to this type of licorice. Anything that is “salmiak” I usually like. These are good! These are a firm gumdrop texture that softens as you suck it or is easy to chew if you prefer.

These are addictive. I absolutely can’t stop eating them. The different shapes have different flavors, which wasn’t apparent to me when I bought this. The bomb shape is spicy, which I’m not crazy about. My favorite is the diamond. I honestly thought they would have a way stronger licorice flavor and I’m a little disappointed by how weak they are. They’re also not as salty as I expected based off the reviews. I let my friends try some and I loved watching their reactions. I think that you will like them if you are a fan of black licorice, but you might not like them if you’re not used to strong flavors.

Finnish licorice is my favorite!!!! Can’t go wrong!!!

This is totally subjective and I mean no insult to others with a different pallet. This is the most retched taste I have ever experienced in my 75 years of life. There are no words to describe the putrid flavor of this candy.

I have purchased this product 4 times over the last year and I wait in anticipation of when the next bag will arrive. I love this licorice when I landed in Denmark two years ago and bought several bags. Unfortunately, those bags did not last long enough. I'm glad I found these on Amazon. I highly recommend this product and the seller.
