Different than what I was used to, but they work the same.
I own several pairs of open-toe compression stockings made by Juzo which all come boxed with a similar version of this slip sock that's made of a slick heavyweight paper instead of fabric. I have used my paper Juzo "socks" so much and for so long that they've begun to tear and lose their slickery feel. I compared the shapes of both slip socks and they are identical with the only exception being that this fabric sock doesn't offer as much coverage on the top of the foot as does the paper sock. While using this fabric sock felt quite different than the paper ones I'm used to, the function is still the same. These fabric slip socks assist me in putting on my compression stocking just as well as the paper socks did. I'm glad to have another option for getting my compression hose on because without the slip sock it is virtually impossible to do.

They break down qucikly
I ordered these on May 14. 34 days later, they are virtually unusable. The seam ripped along the side. And it is already past the return window (short by amazon standards) I'd like my money back, but that doesn't appear to be an option

Without it I could not easily put on my compression hose
The thought about this product and it's usefulness is 5 stars. Without it I could not easily put on my compression hose. However, it tears easily if not used with care. . With full compression stockings and lots of stocking material to pass past the slip sock, it is not as sturdy as when only having to pass a knee length compression stocking. The slip sock works better on knee length compression stockings. Perhaps the manufacturer could put some research into making the seams sturdier

Do not fit large feet
I am an 80 year old man with poor circulation and have difficulty donning support stockings. The slip sock DOES make it easier to don support stockings especially around the heel. The sock is a tight fit but works for my right foot. But my left leg has a vein stripped out and that foot swells more, so the slip sock is almost impossible to cram on and my foot does not go in all the way. Also the slip sock looks to be very delicately made and I do not think it will last very long with the stress I put on it. Fine for a woman's foot. I think the manufacturer should make small, medium, and large sizes.

So much easier
This little footlet is a huge help in getting open toe compression socks on. You use the 3 pronged device with it and When they are all pulled up then you just pull the little slipper out of the toe opening. Wonderful invention!!..I call it my Cinderella slipper.

Useless
Totally useless if your compression socks are not open toed. This might be helpful for opentoed stocking. Not for me!
