Delicious and tender.
Great abalone can. There’s about seven pieces in each can. Tasty and tender. Wanted to purchase more but currently unavailable. Ordered another brand with abalone from Chili that are larger with about three pieces in a can.

Do not buy them or you will waste your money
Don't buy them. They are extremely hard not even a sharp knife can cut them, much less eat them. Extra priced to have to trow them to garbage. The dog was not capable to eat that garbage.

Very delicious and tender Albalone!
I was looking forward to finally trying Abalone, the exorbitant price of a can for 4 pieces was a surprise that it could be so expensive and I had bought it as a gift for my Dad. But he is in his 90's and got too frail to cook so I did not give him the can. I made it the other night with Bok choy, scallops, ginger, garlic, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil then topped with green onion and it was to die for! Put some up in the freezer to share with him the next time I visit. Although it was expensive it became a "bucket list" delicacy to try. Tasted very much like a buttery tender clam, yummy!

These Cans Arrived Damaged ( Dented )
The Locos ( Chilean Abalone ) were small, but with good flavor. I used a Chilean Style Salsa ( Pebre ) to enhance the dish.

OK abalone, poor shipping
The abalone is fine, both taste and texture. But the can had FIVE dents. It was shipped in a plastic bag inside a barely padded and too large paper bag. No bubble wrap. No box. For this price, ship it decently padded, please.

He loves it
My brother loves abalone and he’s dying of cancer so even though it’s expensive, I bought him a few cans and have done so as for him every few weeks. He Used to eat this in Japan at the sushi bars and he’s really enjoying it.
