The fix we didn’t think we needed!
Out of nowhere our cooker acted like we over filled it with liquid. When I know we were well below the fill line! So after we cleaned up the mess, my wife says the gasket seems a little bit loose. (stretched out)So I purchased 2 of these just to have an extra. About 2 weeks After we replaced it, we Used the cooker. What a difference. It seals like new and worked perfectly. We have the “Power XL 10qt”Definitely recommend.

doesn't come to pressure!! in the 790 model ring is too thick
ordered these for my power pressure cooker xl as my original sealing ring no longer allows my unit to come to pressure. they are a bit thicker than the original and do not allow my unit to come to pressure. done several water pressure tests on both rings even put in dishwasher to try to wear them a bit. no luck. ending up "borrowing" my moms ring to make sure it wasn't the unit. its the rings!!! i have the 790 model!!

Bigger than expected but very nice nonetheless
While it is much larger than our original 6 Qt version, it still produces the best pot roast and vegetables, Rice and Chinese style food. We made 3-1/2 pounds of pot roast, browning the meat first without any effort. We did find that if we added a little extra water or bouillon to the rice it came out much better. You'll have to experiment on your own to suit your taste. We did get two extra gaskets just in case, they are inexpensive and take up minimal space. Unfortunately there are few accessories available for the 10 QT version and our little 6 Qt basket looks lost in the big pot.BTW: We have had NONE of the Teflon pealing issues frequently referred to in some reviews.

Do not seal
Neither one of these seals will seal on my pressure cooker XL. I have tried both now and have flipped the seal over thinking I had them in incorrectly. I have also check all points where things my be plugged.

Didn't stop the steam from escaping.
I have no idea what the problem was with my XL Pressure Cooker, as this gasket sealing ring didn't help at all. I finally had to send the unit back to the manufacturer, it was worthless.
