Permat Ceramic Tile Underlayment Sheets

This mat worked just like I thought it would! Very happy!

First time using and found the product to be perfect for the application.

So far this product has done what it is intended to do, i.e. the floor hasn't cracked yet from expansion and contraction. It has been only a month or so but the weather has changed dramatically several times. I used Ditra for most of the tile floor but was short a couple of sq. feet and didn't want to buy a $75 roll of Ditra,

Been installing tile for 39 years and Blanke Permat is the absolute deal!Just need to know how much square footage is included in this order?

I like the ease of use , no screws like concrete boards. Just lay out, pre-cut , lift then spread thinset, ready to tile especially in doorways of narrow closet and plumbing pipes.It is also structural as other roll products are not and have no warranty.It also has the advantage of being 1/8" thick so can eliminate the need for thresholds or saddles for a flush installation. I have used them all , but always come back to this when I need the peace of mind and ease of use.

Great underlayment. Very easy to install, virtually levels out imperfections in the substrate. I installed this over a concrete slab and it has held up very well. My only issue with it is that the mesh joint can impact your tile installation since it can get in the way. The solution would be to immerse the joints with thin set and let it cure before tiling. This eliminates the joints getting in the way.

Definitely the best underlayment on the market. Our installation was incredibly solid and so strong it felt like the it was on a slab. Super strong stuff, really excited to see if it holds up over time as good as it says.
