These frames are as advertised: they are lightweight and look like dark oak. I cannot confirm that they are made of oak, but it would not surprise me. The dimensions are exactly as advertised as well. They look very nice on my office wall.

All around like this frame. Made well & sturdy, perfect size and accessories attached to the backside for hanging on a wall. Price fit into my budget nicely! For future artwork/picture hangings I will certainly check on "Opposite Wall" frames as my first choice.
