Convenient way to build prototype circuits
This is a convenient way to build prototypes with surface mount components, testing ideas with what will be the final solution. The challenge is to solder the parts, but in general it is beneficial for discovering the circuit behavior.

LOVE THESE BOARDS!!!! A MUST if you prototype with SMD ICs
I've been doing a LOT of prototyping on solderless breadboards and using simple SMD to DIP adapters. But many of the ICs require several caps and resistors to perform as desired. Throughhole electrolytic caps are NOT substitutes for SMD MLCC caps. They are COMPLETELY different animals. It took me DAYS of studying, testing and diving into the world of MLCC capacitor DC Bias to understand THAT.Throughhole resistors are much noisier, use up too many holes on the breadboard, risk making contact with other TH components, and often DON'T make contact well enough in the solderless breadboard to prototype rapidly and reliably. These unique adapters are absolutely PERFECT when I'm working with linear regulators and such, so the prototyping most accurately reflects the performance that the assembled PCB will have, and the analysis with oscilloscope and circuit outcome is more reliable. These boards are pricey, but absolutely worth it to have on hand. Get all 3 versions so when your need changes, you don't wait on shipping.Don't forget to get a wide range of SMD caps and resistors to have as well. They are CHEAP, and will be what gets assembled on the board anyhow. 50 in tape form is a great low cost price break point on Digikey. And since that shipping bites a bit, order the large variety at one go.Also consider an Aidetek BoxAll SMD organizer. Between these types of boards, the Digikey SMD passives and the organizer, you'll feel like a pro and be well organized.

Hugely helpful to my project
I needed pull-up resistors for 16 channel I/O expander (PCF8575). I was reluctant to take the board real estate of regular resistors. I had never tried doing surface mount devices, especially considering how my hands shake (Essential Tremor). But I thought the potential benefit was worth the try. The holes lined up perfectly with the PCF8575 module pins, and the pads made the soldering much simpler. It is still challenging to hold the chip in place long enough to solder, but a touch of flux helps.

Not SOIC to DIP
Absolutely NOT SOIC to DIP. Holes are way too far apart. It’s still a great board that has pads on back for smd components so I still gave it 4 stars. Just be aware of what you will get.

Excellent quality adapters for evaluating tiny ICs.
Size: MSOP-8. When selecting adapters like these, pay attention to the pin spacing! Old school ICs in DIP with .1” pin spacing are getting harder to find, so adapters like these are essential for prototyping or evaluating these new-fangled tiny surface-mount ICs. Soldering the SMC IC to the adapter is a challenge, whether using solder paste or thin solder, requiring the utmost skill and a bit of luck. This is no fault of the adapter product whatsoever.

Well designed and constructed product
The fact that there are two rows on each side to select for headers to use for prototyping is an intelligent idea. Having the extra contacts for ground, allow you to put the bypass capacitors on the board instead of trying to fit them in next to it on your prototyping board.

Flexible Adapter
I am using the SOT-6 adapter to breadboard an A/D converter circuit. This adapter has pads for 12 smt parts that allows me to add filtering and decoupling capacitors right at the chip, which maximizes circuit performance.

They look good
Won't be using these for a while, but I think they are going to work out fine.
