GET SMALL NOT MEDIUM!
Guys/Girls if your waist is between 30-34" you definitely want "small" not "medium" for a snug secure fit! I had to send a medium back(I feel it could have easily fit someone with a 36-38" waist!) I worked out with this on, doing squats and lunges was no problem and the support felt good(*very inconspicuous and tight to the body, fits well under sweats and jeans!*).I definitely went lighter and higher reps until after my surgery. My hernia is currently small and not symptomatic for the most part and I purchased this to get me through the summer and planning on having surgery in September, I didn't want to ruin my summer so I'm just using the support harness to skate me through for a couple of months. It works well and is "comfy snug" which is what I wanted for exercising. I am satisfied with this purchase and the product is currently meeting my needs!(PULL ALL STRAPS QUITE TIGHT WHILE PUTTING IT ON, ESPECIALLY FOR EXERCISING. AFTER ABOUT 5-10MIN OF WEARING IT YOU WILL BE WAY LESS CONSCIOUS OF HOW SNUG IT IS AND THE SUPPORT WILL FEEL GOOD AND GIVE YOU PIECE OF MIND! IF THE VELCRO WEARS OUT AFTER A MONTH OR TWO I WILL JUST BUY ANOTHER ONE, I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS THING TO LAST 5 YEARS! 😂)

No joke this belt has helped above expectations
Really gotta say I'm not one to really write reviews but I am dealing with a hernia right under my belt line just like the picture depicts. With having to wait a month to see my primary and then another to see the surgeon.. I bought this item having delt with the discomfort and having to hold my hand over the hole so it didn't pop out on me.. this belt works very well I would highly recommend buying this 30 bucks is well worth not having to deal with the pain and discomfort of pushing the hernia back in

Overall good but Velcro slips
I have a hernia and bought this support so I could continue to work out at the gym. Initially worked very well but noticed after several months that the Velcro would pop loose which meant an awkward walk to to the restroom to re-fasten it. Overall a good short term solution until you get your hernia fixed.

Gives great support!
I didn’t want this thing & don’t want to have a hernia (female groin) but I’m very pleased with this product. It took me a couple of days to adjust it so it works best, & it holds my hernia in very well while I’m waiting to have surgery. Without this, the hernia was a constant awareness, with it, I forget that I have a hernia & wear it all day, especially for exercise. Happy that I got it.

Velcro issues
Works very well for about 2 weeks then the Velcro gave out. The loop side of the Velcro wasn't 'deep' enough to hold. I sewed more Velcro on top of the other tab.It gives nice compression and the medium fits well for a 32" waist. It isn't bulky and doesn't show under jeans or khakis. Comfortable to wear all day.

Velcro waist strap is cheap but the customer service is excellent
Update: after posting the following review, I simply must complement this company for standing behind their product and reaching out. My review got their notice and they responded in a very nice way. Few if any companies do this in today's world. Bravo: This belt is good and effective if adjusted properly, however the velcro used on this product is of a "cheap" grade and quality, causing it to lose it's grip and curl up around the edges. I expect that this velcro component would wear out even faster if it went through a wash cycle.

Comfortable for what's to be uncomfortable.
Worked great and not uncomfortable.

no pain!
I've had a hernia for a few weeks & am waiting for surgery. By the end of the day I always am in agony. As soon as I got this belt I put it on & had no pain at all for the 1st time! The instructions were a little confusing, as they were translated poorly from another language, but I figured it out.Update. After 17 days of use, the Velcro on the groin strap has failed. I never detach the waistband, just slide it off. When I do so, the groin strap often detaches from the belt & sticks to my pants, so I have to constantly reattach it to the belt. Now, the strap refuses to stick to the belt, & just hangs down my legI use other items with Velcro that last years, so the Velcro on this product must be inferior.
