It's possible to find one's way around Sony's online help, and it is comprehensive, but it is not easy. Nor will it ever tell *why* one should use or not use a particular feature or setting. One can also learn a lot from watching several youtube videos.Some just prefer a book. I have his books for each of my cameras of the past seven years. All Sony Alpha, all similar to use. But each is different.I watch the videos too. But there is nothing like an actual book as a main reference source.Highly recommended.
