Loosen up over time
I bought these zip ties because I thought they would work better than the regular plastic ones and they did for about a week. After a week they started to loosen up and not holding anymore, I went back to plastic zipties because I really need them to hold tension. Now I have over 30 extra ties that I can't use because they don't hold up. Other than this problem they are nice and look real slick in the black color.

Nice short metal zip ties
If you are looking a zip tie to use outdoors (in the sun all the time), then these zip ties are for you. I needed to hang a transparent mailbox on my gate, and my old plastic zip ties would get brittle in a year and so would break off. I wish these were able to untie but it looks permanent would you tie it together. Also, the black scratches off pretty easily so you see the white grayish steel underneath it. Now I need to buy a wire cutter because these can't be cut off with regular scissors like my old plastic zip ties.

These REALLY hold!
Used to hold fiberglass "header tape" on hot exhaust pipe from the turbo to the muffler on my diesel-pusher RV. Suggest using a small piece of pipe with a slot cut on the end to wind it tight. Then cut the ends off flush or they will slice your hands/arms to pieces.

Super strong
These are so strong and durable! They seem like they will last quite a while. Some were difficult to put together at the start, but once you get it through the metal clip it is quite easy to pull through. I did have to get legit bolt cutters to cut the extra steel off after putting it together - my old pliers/wire cutters wouldn’t touch it.

Better than I thought
I used these to tie stainless steel cables from my catalytic converter lock to the converter. The cables were vibrating against the converter and making a lot of noise. I tied two of these ties together to make a longer tie and tied down the cat lock cables. I used pliers to tightened and sheet metal scissors to cut the extra length because wire cutters didn't cut well.
