Terrific Bean Cellar! Fast Shipping from China. Exactly As Advertized!
I've been looking for quality containers like this to use as storage for my "pre-measured" coffee beans after seeing the Bean Cellars offered by weberworkshops and craiglyn. Granted, their containers have one-way valves in the caps to off gas accumulated CO2 and these do not... however... the bulk of my roasted coffee is carefully stored with all the appropriate precautions. Personally I have more important things to worry about than the little amount of CO2 that will off gas in such a small quantities. I use these tubes so I don't have to measure and grind every day for my morning coffee. BTW: When filled to the top, one of these 60ml tubes can hold up to 21gr of whole beans.... more than enough space for users with 18 and 20gr portafilter baskets. See photo

Better than the cork for coffee beans
I made some single dose holders and bought the glass/cork topped version first but didn't like the cork as they are too difficult to keep tight and want to just fall out. These are much better and overall good quality. They do have a little insert in the lids which is loose and will fall out but other than that they are much better than the cork lids. They are shown with 18 grams of beans. Overall happy with them and visually they are nice looking. Took about 2 weeks to receive.

Perfect for single dosing 18-19g shots
I purchased these for single dosing on my Eureka Mignon. Very nice glass vials with painted metal lids. The finish on the lids is very fragile and some already have tiny scratches on them right out of the box. I would've gotten the silver lids but they didn't have any in stock and would've arrived next month. If you are looking to dose 18-19g, these will work for you. If you need 20g shots, you'll probably need the 60ml option instead of these 50ml jars. For reference, the left one has 18.5g of medium roast Guatemala beans and the right one has 18.1g of Ethiopian medium roast. Dark roast is less dense meaning you'll need more beans to achieve the same dose but there is probably enough leeway in the 50ml to allow for 18-19g even with a dark roast.I went with 50ml to try to limit the amount of air in contact with the beans. I saw some pics of 60ml with a 20g shot and there was just too much left over space. No valve on these obviously, but I wouldn't worry about CO2 off gassing in a tiny 18g dose. In my opinion it's not worth paying $50+ on Craig Lyn just to get the valves. Also, the Craig Lyn are huge to allow up to 30g doses meaning you will have a ton of space if you only dose out standard 18g shots.

small jars that fit my pH probe well
I bought these because I finally broke down and bought a Milwaukee MW102 pH meter. I got into making beer and decided to make my beer the best I can make it. As you may know you need to calibrate frequently and you have to use buffer solutions, 7.01 and 4.01 for beer. You have a storage solution that I was convinced to have and that you just add to the probe cover and you store the probe standing up. You also have cleaning solution that you can stick your probe in to clean for 15 -30 minutes. I'm one of those who doesn't want to waste anything especially after watching people on YouTube showing us how to calibrate. One of the things I noticed was a lot of waste. These little bottles are wide enough to accept the probe and temperature gauge and just a little to fill them half way. We are talking about 12mls here! It's how I roll as sister Regis used to say ad nausea, "Willful waste makes for wilful want".

Glass body is good, color washes right off the plastic-lined metal caps.
They're little glass vials, functional enough if you don't care about appearances. If you do care about appearances, get the silver ones. The vials are glass, just normal, most likely not anywhere near lab quality, but that's not what I needed. The caps are metal outside, plastic inside. The color mostly washed off in the very first washing. I plan to use them with food, so I need to wash them.If you're planning to store beads or tiny screws or whatnot in them, they're probably fine for that and as long as you don't get oil, alcohol, or soap on the lids they'll probably keep their color.
